Christian Wire: AG Ashcroft Keynotes Inspirational Lawyer Retreat
Very special. Now we have "Balanced" lawyers! They can all follow Ashcroft's lead now. I wonder if the luncheon will be orange-glazed chicken, steamed peas and rice pilaf? Mmmmm, Gitmolicious!

FORNEY, Texas, June 15 /Christian Wire Service/ -- A.G. John Ashcroft will deliver the keynote for the upcoming Balanced Lawyer Retreat, in Branson, Missouri. The Former Attorney General in the George W. Bush Administration concludes the 2 day Inspirational Conference with a reception, luncheon. speech and Q&A.

"We are honored to have Mr. Ashcroft at our event. He has a distinguished career and played a historic role in our country's response to 9-11, and the war against terrorism," says Inspired Counsel founder, Patricia Wilhite McCartney.

The conference, will be held on June 23-24, 2005. Hosted by Inspired Counsel, the event concentrates on education, inspiration and encouragement in the positive practice of law. "We are a new concept in the legal community. Our objective is to motivate lawyers in a ‘whole person' approach toward achieving an optimal legal career." McCartney stated, "As a faith based organization, IC also includes a strong emphasis on spiritual balance, as well as communication strategies, personality profiling and time management."

The themes of personal and professional balance will be threaded throughout the courses offered by Best Selling Author & Empowerment Coach Jay Block, Attorney & Lawyer Coach Ellen Block, (West Palm Beach, Fla.), as well as McCartney, a Texas lawyer, and nationally recognized Christian motivational speaker. McCartney's topics include value based documents, such as life testaments, also known as ethical wills. Although they are not legal documents, many lawyers recognize the contribution of assisting clients in preparing a lasting testament of their lives. The concept which dates back to Biblical times, has gained recent popularity in the faith based, legal and corporate sectors.

As a Mediator for more than five years, McCartney's expertise also extends to the creation of the latest mediation trend called DTER, (Disposition Through Early Resolution), which is based upon a collaborative pre-suit method of resolving disputes. McCartney incorporates her program as part of the Balanced Lawyer Retreats offered throughout the country.

The latest retreat, held at the Radisson Hotel in Branson, is open to all lawyers, and has been approved for continuing legal education in some states. The Cost of $279 includes the courses, a reception and luncheon w/Mr. Ashcroft.
