Now the family needs to let him get on with his life.

5. There is no vindication for anyone |
|
And smug threads about how we were "right" are pretty unbecoming.
This was a tragedy for everybody involved. Nobody was "right", and I personally respected the feelings of both sides of the dispute. Aren't there other things to talk about?

8. No vindication for anyone? |
|
Sorry, but this is a HUGE vindication for MichaelSchiavo, who was vilified shamelessly by the Schindlers.
And yes, it is a vindication for us, who recognized the astounding folly of the United States Congress and the President of the United States wrongfully inserting themselves into this family tragedy.
Yeah, I'm feeling pretty smug right now, because all of those fuckers have to eat shit. Sue me.

11. Given what Michael was accused of, this is indeed vindication |
|
Michael Schiavo WAS right.
The physicians WERE right.
And those who accused him of vile crimes were WRONG.
Are there other things to talk about? Sure. How many can you talk about? I think I can handle a few.

Gloating over something like this is ugly. Like dancing on that poor woman's grave.

The federal government has NO BUSINESS getting involved in the personal medical decisions of families or trying to override state law in order to appease their radical right constituents.
An emergency session of Congress, for God's sake. President Chimpy flying at night to Washington to sign a bill.
What was done to Terri Schiavo was horrible. What the government tried to do was worse.

10. With the level of osteopenia/osteoporosis that the autopsy said she had |
|
All I can say is thank goodness she couldn't feel pain. If she didn't feel the horrible pain of that then there wasn't a damn thing she felt when she passed away. Rest in Peace Terri Schiavo.

No doubt Hannity, Rush, et al. will have "experts" on who will claim that the size of one's brain is irrelevant to the issue of being able to function.
Example: GWB (although that may be up for debate)

and M. SHIAVO's brave attorney. And for all of us here who knew from day 1 that this was not a "distraction" type case. V is also for Victory, and we need to accept it for what it is as we re-acquaint ourselves with it.
