Mitchell.
No smoking gun.
So it is OK if his words and actions were directly in conflict.

They were duped into believing and following an illegal war.
Poor corporate media bastions....Guess they need to go back to the whipping boy stables to meet John Negroponte!!!
Enough lashings will hold them in line... :) Someone helped propagandaize an illegal invasion..... :banghead:
The story has not gone anywhere, Mitchell.

5. I just heard her also; this story has no legs? |
|
Boy, I think she may be rethinking that statement. Just the fact that MSNBC is finally covering this means it has legs. The more I see her, the less I like her. :eyes:

Andrea says You would have had to be brain dead not to know what the president was up too.
But just the other day, the little chimp-boy said "Nothing could be farther from the truth."
Andrea, are you suggesting the president is brain dead?

But that's the same charge I hear leveled at Kerry-he must have known-he must have known how rotten, wrong, corrupt, messed up Bush would make the Iraq endeavor.
NO! The guy driving the bus is to blame. That isn't the public that was lied to, the senators and congresspeople that were lied to-the world too.
Dems have to own up to being suckered-and place the blame on the boys and girls in charge of the bus.
I've owned up. Shame is not the game. Accountablity is. No one is ultimately ever more responsible that the president. It was his decision to go to war and his manufactured truth that got US there.

13. Tell it to 76% of braindead Bushvoters who believe Iraq did 9-11, Andrea. |
|
Funny, noone in the media thought it was important to to tell the public that Kerry was right about Bush's incompetence on the war on terror and his rush to war in Iraq without allowing the weapons inspections to work first so war would TRULY be a last resort.
Instead, you babbled that you couldn't understand what Kerry was saying, and now you want to say that everyone knew what Kerry was saying was true.

@*&$#*@!
It WAS obvious what the President was up to and how did the #$%*&! media respond??? By making cool new war graphics and stupid slogans. By making this fun new war look like a goddamn video game.

I didn't see the report. When she said, you would've had to have been brain not to see what the President was up to", was she acknowledging that it was obvious the administration intended to invade no matter what?
I would agreee with that, of course- but how would she square that statement with her own station's refusal to question the Bush Administration's motives on the lead-up to the invasion? Everyone should've just magically *known* it was bullshit, even though her own station was reporting the administration's statements as gospel?
I don't get it.
