Poll question: How are they going to distract from Conyers tomorrow?
We know they don't want to get anything newsworthy actually on the news, so there will have to be some big distraction. Some potentials are humorous, others could be as serious as "terrorist" attacks.

1. Conyers has airplane "accident".
Just like Wellstone and that little girl who went to Russia to meet Andropov.

2. The corporate media won't cover Conyers even if there is nothing else
Corporate media doesn't give a crap about news, only ratings. They'll still be rehashing the "aftermath" of the Jackson trial or random crap about some missing person.

3. A little spin on my vote:
~Terror~warning/attack in Conyer's home district....

....although it won't be in Conyer's home district, it will be around the state capitol. That way they can postpone the entire hearing until another diversion can be dreamed up.

9. I know what you just said, but until you typed it all out there in one
little nugget, I didn't realize how badly I wished you were completely wrong. But you're not.

Amazing how far America has fallen in such a short period of time.

7. Every one of those choices is believable. Perhaps a combo of 2 or 3 ...

... you know, ... a "Trifecta"

After more consideration, the Dobson choice seems a bit far out.

8. Other
They just won't report on it, or if they do, it will be the usual downplaying saying the DEMs are beating a dead horse.

Now I think it would be something if Kerry came out after speaking to it, or had a press conference regarding it tomorrow.

The M$M can't avoid it forever.

all in all, i hope it has some effect on the nation's collective psyche. i hope will pitt and symbolman and all the others are successful in exposing this atrocity.

i truly hope it has some effect.
