Why Bush is stupid...
Bush said he insulates himself from the "opinions" that seep into news coverage by getting his news from his own aides. He said he scans headlines, but rarely reads news stories.

1. This would be seen as admirable...
...by the 70% of Americans who don't read the newspaper.

3. Slight correction
that makes him ignorant, not stupid. Though in this case both are probably accurate.

It's alot like the Americans who get their "news" from Limpballs and O'Really. As Al Franken pointed out in his 1st book, the Libeciles THINK they know more about things, but in fact know less.

5. It's stupid to be ignorant..
...when you're the president of the US. However, I don't think he could really do better if he did know which end was up anyway. I think the mess he's made of this country reflects his working to capacity.

9. It's stupid to CHOOSE to be ignorant
Unintentional ignorance can be forgiven, especially if the situation is corrected.

It's also stupid to vote for someone who is known to be (intentionally or unintentionally) ignorant.

7. Why "lindashaw" is naive...
Bush and his cronies successfully grifted this country out of BILLIONS of dollars. They have pushed through legislation that will take decades, if ever, to address and reform.

Stupid? Maybe.

Extremely wealthy? You bet!

"Mission accomplished."

12. he's a puppet
It doesn't take brains to be a puppet. Just the willingness to sell your soul.

11. He said he scans headlines, but rarely reads news stories.
Headlines are simple sentences. I think that it's admirable that he admits to reading on a fourth grade level.
