I only get 1 & 2. Didn't even know there was a 3. Well that lets us know how much importance they give it.

18. You are more than welcome. For what it's worth, you can also
stream NPR, Air America & many local radio stations. Go to their respective web sites & see if they have a "Listen Live" button.

I frequently switch back and forth between CSPAN & AA.

31. Stop It Stop It Stop It you can get c-span 3
First off stop knocking c-span. It is the only true media voice we have.
1. When the House and Senate are in session they (c-span) are obliged to carry it in full, hence c-span 3
2. You can get c-spa3 by going to
www.c-span.org and clicking on the link for the hearing.
While you are there look at all the info on all members of the house and the senate. Every bill that was ever passed the yeas and nays.
Every program that was ever on c-span1, c-span2 and c-span3
everything is at our figertips if you have the time

22. While carrying it on cspan3
is not good doesn't it mean that at least they are recording it and will rerun it on 1 or 2 at a latter time? Maybe in the evening when more people can see it. Just trying to be a little optimistic, it would be better to have both but at least they are going to be there and have the cameras rolling.

And to add my two cents about replays:
I have often seen things on cspan3 that were rebroadcast on cspan1 or cspan2 during the evening or next available timeslot so watch for that.

And THANK CSPAN for their cameras!

Hopefully anyone here that doesn't get # 3 and is on the internet can view it on C-Span site. Don't they have a streaming video for broadband AND dial up?

C-SPAN Ask--them to cover the Hearing on Thursday, 16 June:

events@c-span.org

Peace
O8)

Here is my standard letter to the Media:

Dear Sir/Madam:

As you know, on May 1 of this year a document now commonly referred to as “|The Downing Street Memo” was released into the British Press. These minutes of a British cabinet meeting raise serious question about how the administration was handling intelligence related to Iraq and appears to suggest that the Bush Administration had already decided on war when publicly it was claiming that no such decision had been made. Now further documents have been released in the British media which cast even further doubts.

These documents and other documents suggest that the Bush administration was determined to “fix intelligence” around a predetermined policy. Some of these documents make it clear that the administration had no credible plan for dealing with the post-war occupation.

It is most disturbing that there has been a virtual media blackout regarding “The Downing Street Minutes” and other disturbing documents.

Even more disturbing is the absence in the America media of any credible in-depth follow-up discussion or coverage regarding strong, credible and independent evidence that the Bush Administration intentionally mislead the U.S. Congress, the media and the American people.

I do hope you will accept the responsibility to address this issue and provide serious investigative journalism into this matter.

Furthermore, on Thursday June 16, 2005, Rep. John Conyers, Jr., ranking minority member of the House Judiciary Committee, and other House members will hold a hearing to consider testimony concerning the Downing Street minutes and questions of possible fixing of prewar intelligence. I do hope you will be giving full coverage to these events.

Sincerely,

Symbolman is in DC and he will be filming this event, too - and making DVDs available. Not sure where else it may go, but we want to make sure the footage gets out there AND IS SEEN BY AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE!
