About half the nation owes Michael Schiavo an apology
Edited on Wed Jun-15-05 12:47 PM by nomad1776
The women was blind according to the report. Yet the sleazy evil family produced that phony video showing her reacting to visual stimuli. On top of that the report shows that the sleazy family, the slimy republicans in congress, evil george bush and those despicable conservative Christians were ONE HUNDRED PERCENT WRONG!. You think any of them will have the decency to admit they were wrong and do the right thing?????

2. I agree
Those "nurses" on Hannity's show, all the rightwing talk show hosts etc. Don't forget all the protestors at the hospice who kept other family members around from seeing their loved ones and that one girl who barely missed her grandfather dying. They caused so much grief to people.

4. They Will Handle The News One of Two Ways
1. They will ignore it and pretend the story doesn't exist, or 2. They will claim they're argument was something completely different and Orwellian like "We only wanted the gov't out of their personal lives, it's not the gov't's job to remove a feeding tube!"

Just watch.

5. They Will Not Apologize, They'll Just Lie Even More...
and smear, distract, distort, propagandized, smirk, sell-out, flag-wave and whore themselves.

It's the repuke pledge of allegiance to pure hypocrisy. They're all screaming it everytime they cram a feeding tube into someone against that person's will.

It's also very telling that the repubs relate so heavily to the braindead.

6. you mean
the BAD part of the nation, right?

No way will they apologize. They were making excuses before the release saying that Throckmartin (sp?) was "in on the conspiracy" that exists down in Pinellas County. (sigh) :banghead:

10. Hell no. If Benny Hinn's schedule hadn't been so full, he could have
flown down there and commanded god to heal her. Alas, he was needed elsewhere, and her husband killed her.

That's how they think. Sad, isn't it?

However, some of the people on this very board complained that she was only being tube fed because the staff didn't want to take the time to feed her orally. Those people need to apologize to the nursing home staff, because the autopsy also found an aspiration pneumonia. Everything her parents had put into her mouth had ended up in her lungs. Likely her parents would have killed her via aspiration pneumonia eventually.

False hope by families is a very powerful thing and very difficult to crack through with reality. Every random movement becomes affectionate communication. Sciavo's parents are going to have to start dealing with a lot of stuff from now on. I sincerely hope they can heal.

12. Truth be told, it was a lot less than half
that supported the Schindlers.

It was probably 30% at most...MANY people, conservative and liberal alike, were repelled by the actions of ** and Congress.

18. Yeah, I think it was a lot less than half
A quarter, at best. But it's a quarter of the population that runs the whole show when voter turnout is less than 50%. These demagogues and delusionals crawl out of the woodwork and the media can't jump fast enough to do their bidding.

And remember how quickly the unconstitutional Schiavo legislation sailed through the Republican-controlled Congress? Chimpy even took the unprecedented step of coming back from a bender down in Crawford a day early to sign the bill and get the meddling going full steam.

Keep that in mind when your Representative or Senator tries to tell you that there's no way this or that legislation can be introduced in Congress, because there's just no time. If the Republican overlords want it, it happens and toot fuckin' sweet.

16. I really hope he sues.
These people lied and defamed his character in an attempt to get their way. This autopsy result proves, once again, that they never cared about Terri Schiavo, they cared about themselves and their "cause."
