Randi on a tear now, and not just Schiavo!
She has torn into the fake news that we're paying for, questioning why Anthrax was only sent to Democratic Senators and that no one is looking for who did it, into Biden for demeaning Dean. She is totally incensed, and it is a blessing to hear someone scream Out There stuff that I scream about here, at home(my poor kids) every day.

1. I worry we're becoming the party of the complainers...
...I hope that's not the case, but it's appearing that way to me.

Let me know when you find a positive, and I'll "pump it up..."

17. Pussy footing around the issues is one of the reasons dems
are losing this battle. The meaner, nastier, louder and uglier Repukian THUGS are taking over and we are letting them by trying to "look good" and "sound good". The days of playing nice are OVER! Time to kick some ass!

20. What is with this criticizing righteous anger around here of late?
Last thing we need is to be reminded to 'be polite'. What is with posts telling us, one way or another, that we have to behave like the bad guys want us to?

Daschel was VERY polite after his office got anthraxed. Seems silly to give in to people who are out to make you extinct just cuz raising a ruckus might upset someone! :eyes:

I had a self defense coach once tell me: "If some attacker tries to rape me and says to hold still or I will get hurt, he IS HURTING me! I may end up dead, but I'll be holding the evidence to bring him down him down under my fingernails."

I sorta feel like there are a bunch of bad people raping the world. Seems we ought to at least fight back.

2. You know, I've never given too much thought that whole Anthrax thing...
Edited on Wed Jun-15-05 05:00 PM by marmar
Only sent to Democratic senators? I didn't realize that. Hmmm. ...
All those wacky conspiracy theories associated with 9/11 and the period afterward (ala the anthrax scare) are sounding less and less wacky all the time.

21. I found an article about the Bush/National Enquirer connection
http://www.bushbodycount.com/voices/thelist.php?catid=20&blogid=4
Bob Stevens
Mr. Stevens died of a mysterious case of anthrax. He worked as a photo editor for American Media, who owns the National Enquirer. The Bush family suffered enormous embarrassment at the hands of the Enquirer when they published a photo of daughter Jenna Bush, obviously intoxicated, cigarette in hand, cavorting on the floor with another drunken female.

This is the pic

25. What I read
http://news.phaseiii.org/article577.html

Below is more information relating to this sordid story:
http://www.mail-archive.com/ctrl@listserv.aol.com/msg95880.html -
SKOLNICKS: "Some top U.S. military flag officers are aware of the
correctness and validity of our exclusive stories of George W.
Bush and his male sex-mate since University and Skull & Bones
initiation and up to date. These flag officers are gravely
concerned with the national security ramifications of this
relationship which is not a private and personal matter. The
situation has caused the murder of a magazine photo editor CIA's National Enquirer in Ft Lauderdale, Florida - the first
person killed by anthrax post 9-11-2001, with entire building
permanently shut down by FBI] as well as causing George W. Bush
to be subject to blackmail and compromise of Bush resulting in
his conveyance to sworn enemies of the United States, and giving
them aid and comfort, of U.S. financial, industrial, and military
secrets."

With that in mind, the following web sites mention suspicions that Victor Ashe, Mayor of Knoxville, Tennessee, is W's longtime gay partner. Ashe is an open homosexual, who has been described in news stories as sexually active and promiscuous. This would place him at high risk of contracting AIDS, and he may have then passed it onto President Bush (as Skolnick claimed):

http://www.democraticunderground.com/duforum/DCForumID12/2819.html
http://www.mail-archive.com/ctrl@listserv.aol.com/msg95880.html

Skolnick later said that O'Neill was sacked as Treasury Chief because he was unable to stop Secret Service agents from leaking the Ashe affair to the press, or from quitting their jobs in disgust (Secret Service reports to the Treasury Department), among other things:

7. If there wasn't something fishy about the anthrax thing, * would
have used it as his excuse for attacking Iraq.

23. I'm convinced that was the original reason
and that the mailings were to be more widespread and that it was to be blamed on Iraq. Well, the attack got scaled back when 9/11 happened to just a few targets the Bush family wanted silenced: the media, powerful Democrats, and a photo editor who had published a very unflattering pic of a drunken Jenna Bush.

9/11 gave labs time to trace the anthrax back to the CIA lab at Ft. Detrick. It's been stonewalled since then. Those envelopes could only have been filled within a high level containment facility, else they'd have contaminated the environment and resulted in a lot more cases. Weaponized anthrax doesn't just sit there like baby powder, it volatizes and disperses through the air very quickly.

I don't think they ever expected the anthrax to be traced to Ft. Detrick. They first claimed it HAD to be Iraq, since only they had the weapons program going. Iraq, however, had been using bentonite to try to abrade the coating off anthrax spores to weaponize it but had discarded the program as unworkable. Nobody outside the CIA knows what the US process is.

And that is how and why we know it was an inside job: means, method, opportunity, accesss, and motive.

I think they're all tied together. Wasn't Tom Daschle a main person who got an anthrax envelope? I do remember that scare. Nobody really looked into that did they?

9. We should all be screaming about this stuff
I no longer care how crazy I look and the cats are used to it. Everything happening is an OUTRAGE, a real one, not the manufactured CRAP they throw at Democrats, at the left, at Greens, and at anyone who isn't a pubbie or one of their DLC enablers.

I intend to keep building my reputation as a crazy old lady. We all need to get out there and SCREAM BACK at them.

12. She's right. They are pathological about their lies and deceit.
What's worse is, they do it, "LIE", because it benefits/profits them.

These so-called Christian conservatives bear false witness against others for the love of money; both of which are fundamental sins. I'm mean, good grief, do they really believe being saved means they get a free ticket to heaven no matter what they do? PUH-LEASE!!!

15. Why not Get Mad? Why Not Complain? I mean after all we have
tried the nice polite way and look where we are. Just as the little kid stands against the bully on the playground, we must stand up to them with all the emotions we have. It is personal for me, so I guess I am entitled being the mother of a soldier who is going to war. NO one going to tell me not to get mad!
