It's been a bad day for BushCo....
I've been watching it almost all day and CNN has really been talking up Gitmo, Downing Street Memo, Schiavo, the energy bill, etc.

I'll bet that they are seeing that Bush is vulnerable. Let's hope they keep it up and the other outlets start doing the same.

Of course - it is time for a terror alert.....

9. All the more reason
to stay alert the next few days, especially if you are from NY. We know George Bush hates NY and a caged animal often will try to attack when they feel cornered.

8. I think today was a day, CNN is switching over to news... I am going to
wait and see, if they continue covering the real news like they are doing today, if they do, I'll get my cable hook up again.

10. They'd better hurrry...
News breaking: America is financially exterminated.

Its greed and desire to snub it to its own pool of intelligent working class is what did it.

The more offshoring continues, the sooner the housing bubble will burst. And as the tax burden continues to be shifted toward the middle class, the same middle class being whittled away at with offshoring, there's going to be big problems very soon. (and the poor sure as heck can't even LIVE with increased taxes...)

Never mind the economy, more than 2/3'rds of which DEPENDS on the middle class buying cheap plastic trinkets from Mallwart stores. Not that THAT matters, our trade deficit continues to worsen every year - I recall when the previous administration got the blame for not doing anything about a worsening deficit. What's the current one doing, apart from openly supporting policies that LEAD TO THE TRADE DEFICIT PROBLEM IN THE FRIST PLACE?

And didn't these trade deficits start to bloom way back when textile industries started to move to China?

Short-term greed blinds those who have the ability to turn things around into doing more of the same. Indeed, what's the point to having millions or billions of dollars when the dollar becomes WORTHLESS in a catastrophic crash (our debts have been unsustainable for over 100 days now, as said by chief parrot Greenspan and us with brains know that the increasing debt would lead to this upcoming catastrophe). Worthless because, as more and more of our industries and infrastructure gets sold out, the less we do here at home.

To make things short: China, India, and Saudi Arabia own us. And whn they see the dollar fall in value just as South Korea had, they'll "diversify" and take their money out of our economy as well. And if just one of them does that, we're finished.

Meanwhile, starting with a plane incident in May 2001, the US has said and done things not to China's liking. And who needs to launch a bomb when all China need does is to remove their investment in the US for total destabilization to occur?

Like a obscure sci-fi robot once said, "we're boned".

11. Real news -well sort of-with very little spin.
Its about time the tide started to turn. I hope the true motives of this administration and the absolute meritocracy of Pres. Bush are finally exposed. I'm sad though, because it they had reported fairly during the election, John Kerry would be our president.

13. I think all the criticism coming at them from everyone,
as well as being reminded what REAL reporting is (Watergate) has shamed them. They finally realize that actually telling the NEWS is good marketing. Plus they may not let the WH intimidate them as much, especially since Hillary rode their ass.
