Help! Need Linux Boot diskette... |
|
I want to install Ubutu on an older 486 machine, but cannot boot from the CD Rom drive. I need a boot diskette with SCSI CD Rom support. Where can I find one?

boot images on the cd. If you have a windows machine you can use rawrite.exe to copy the images to floppy.

allow you to generate a boot disk from the cdrom in windows. I can't remember the command that does it. take a look at the executables on the cdrom.

Thanks for the info. Maybe I'll try another version.
