Francis A. Boyle - Nat'l Campaign to impeach Pres. *
Edited on Wed Jun-15-05 11:40 PM by longship
I picked this one up this morning from The Smirking Chimp. I didn't get around to reading it until this evening. It's one of the more enlightening articles I've read in some time about the pending and inevitable impeachment of the current White House resident.

Francis A. Boyle: The national campaign to impeach President George W. Bush

I apologize in advance if this is a dupe, but I see this as an important read.

On Edit: If there is any doubt of Rep. Conyers resolve tomorrow, you need to read this article.

Consequently, on Tuesday, March 11, 2003, with the Bush Jr. administration's war of aggression against Iraq staring the American People, Congress and Republic in their face, Congressman John Conyers of Michigan, the Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee (which has jurisdiction over Bills of Impeachment), convened an emergency meeting of forty or more of his top advisors, most of whom were lawyers. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and debate immediately putting into the U.S. House of Representatives Bills of Impeachment against President Bush Jr., Vice President Dick Cheney, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, and then Attorney General John Ashcroft in order to head off the impending war. Congressman Conyers kindly requested that Ramsey Clark and I come to the meeting in order to argue the case for impeachment.

5. No, it was Bob Barr (R-Ga) who authored HR 304
Edited on Thu Jun-16-05 01:30 AM by Art_from_Ark
which was the bill to make an Inquiry of Impeachment against Clinton.
