C-Span is not much better than all the other whore stations
Putting something as important as John Conyers hearing about the DSM on C-Span 3 doesn't do much good, considering that most of us don't have C-Span 3. How many people will see this? We all know it will be just a 10 second coverage on the "news".I sent them an E-Mail yesterday explaining that so many of us will not get to see it,but they still are going to put it on C-Span 3. They've even got the time as 2:30 AM. Whores. All of them.

1. John will be on Washington Journal at 9 am CSPAN1
I look forward to watching this morning and then again at 2pm on CSPAN3. It's going to be an interesting day.

2. I'm going to watch him this morning.....
But I won't be able to see the hearing this afternoon. I don't like watching anything on the net, either. On my computer it gets choppy.....then goes off and does this "rebuffering" crap, whatever that is,so it's impossible to watch anything.

3. I still have faith in cspan...
they usually replay things, they very well might replay the hearing a few times on cspan 1 or 2. the fact is that most of us work and cannot watch it live anyway. cspan 3 does have a live feed for us to watch. of all the channels we have it is by far the most balanced and fair.

4. It makes me wonder too, this is highly important and they relegated it to
cspan3. No excuse for this. write them and let them know.

6. Not so. Their first priority is to show House and Senate proceedings
Unless Congress is taking a recess, they don't show hearings that go on at the same time as Congressional business. But they quite often show the hearings later that same day at night or later in the week

They are filming it. They're showing it on Cspan3. And they're showing it later in the week.

Cspan is better, in most instances, than Corporate News, because it's not second-hand, it's the actual events.
