Honor drives out Terrorism |
|
Remember in the old days when two men who had a disagreement would choose a weapon and duel? Did you ever wonder why the two would want a level playing field? The reason is a thing called honor.
Here is one definition of honor: # Principled uprightness of character; personal integrity. # A code of integrity, dignity, and pride, chiefly among men, that was maintained in some societies, as in feudal Europe, by force of arms.
What honor is there in using technology to annihilate entire nations? Terrorism is a response to a lack of honor.
When a person is faced with antagonism by a dishonorable person or nation, and the victim is powerless to represent himself through the political process or through negotiation, he has a choice to place his head at the end of a rifle, or to lash out against those who wish to kill him.
The Bush administration, and America in general have been dishonoring the nation for decades. Our superior military simply emboldens us to be more dishonorable. But there is no honor in killing 50 innocent people with a cruise missile. I imagine that any move towards a more honorable society would eliminate the vast majority of "terrorists".

1. It is simply amazing how many "just don't get it:" |

There are REASONS that terrorists target the USA, and "hating Freedom" isn't one of them, despite everything the White House says.
The USA has been meddling in the foreign affairs of other sovereign nations for over fifty years, and some countries have begun to "resent" it.
