I am annoying GOP family members and
I need all the ammunition I can muster

* calls us "do-nothing" Democrats but their have been multiple efforts to get bills to Congress

If your rep or senator has offered a bill, I need to know!

1. It's easy to say the democrats are "do nothing"
when you control the floor and don't let their bill's leave committee.

2. Since they have a majority in both houses of Congress
ask them what the problem is and why they're blaming Democrats.

It seems like the problem is within their own damned party.

They've shut Democrats out of committee meetings and closed meeting chambers to them. They've refused to allow Democrats to see proposed legislation until minutes before it's voted on.

And they're whining and crying about how Democrats are obstructionist?

Just how stupid do they think we are? We know how stupid they think Repuglicans are, and they're right. However, they can't expect anyone else to buy this lie.

3. Then remind them Clinton wanted sweeping anti-terror legislation passed
during his second term, but the repubs blocked it.

5. Try This...
Make them something they love to eat. Make it the way they like it and let 'em see it. Then when they reach for the bowl...grab it away. Of course they'll be pissed. But then, hey, you did all the work, you worked to get all the ingredients to go into that food and now you have the control over that food. This is "majority rule". If they want to have something...then they must share. To share, they must observe minority rights...as they are the guests...or minority here...plus they have to observe the rules of socialism so everyone gets a piece.

Boy do they hate that!

Democrats can't get bills passed since they have no control of either the House or Senate. You can't propse legislation if you don't control the agenda. This is an entire GOOP show...and if people truly want representative government, they need to look a lot closer at what that party has and is doing to what's left of our democracy.

Cheers!
