What Bush has accomplished. |
|
Edited on Thu Jun-16-05 08:47 AM by KlatooBNikto
No matter how we may feel about Bush, we must concede that his accomplishments in the past four and a half years have been considerable. A partial list:
1. He has managed to defeat Al Gore even though Al was the winner. 2. He has made the Press ignore his own misdeeds and concentrate on Al Gore's supposed failings.
3. He planned and executed 9/11 and managed to pin the blame on the Arabs.
4.He has managed to concoct a War on Terrorism and used it to develop support for all his plans to dismantle the entire Democratic support system put in place by FDR. 5. He has managed to enact tax cuts for the wealthy buying their enduring loyalty. 6.He has manufactured whole stories about Iraq's possession of WMD's, purchases of Yellowcake and Al-Qaeda connections to launch a war on that country. He may even have started that war clandestinely long before he received approval from a rubber stamp Congress. If Goering were alive he would have approved and admired the way Bush one upped the Fuehrer.
7. He has violated a whole series of international agreements originated by the U.S. with impunity and thumbed his nose at the world without any consequences.
8. Best of all, even after evidence surfaces for all of his misdeeds, no consequences attach to him.In fact, his popularity rises even more because the true believers think he isthe kind of tough guy president this country needs to wage a non existent war on terrorism.
One must stand in awe of these accomplishments or in total disgust. In this case, they may amount to the same thing.

3. I stopped at #1. OMG . What if the Supremes hadn't stolen the |
|
presidency from Gore in 2000?
Our world would be entirely different!
I'm feeling that loss all over again.

5. I know. Well, we made tremendous progress in 2004 |
|
:sarcasm:
But thank heavens we had the Boxer Rebellion. One senator who had the guts to stand up to the Bush goons.
