Conyers Organized Congressional Briefing For Iraqi Union Leaders Today!
The six Iraqi union leaders on tour of the United States were invited to speak to Congress by Representatives John Conyers, Dennis Kucinich, Jesse Jackson Jr., Lynn Woolsey, Barbara Lee and Sam Farr.

They held the congressional briefing this morning in Room HC7 at the U.S. Capital Building from 10:30-11:30 am EDT.

The Iraqi trade union movement leaders talked about how support for Iraqi workers' right to organize labor unions could ultimately shape the rebuilding of Iraq.

If I get more information on the Congressonal briefing I will post it.
