Justice Delayed Is Justice Denied
Edited on Thu Jun-16-05 12:59 PM by ZombyWoof
Let us hope the souls of the slain Mississippi civil rights activists find peace, and justice, with the recent developments.

Now THIS is a cause I can get behind, and have a reasonable amount of hope for a just outcome.

Apparently, he thinks he can play the bad health card. Bastard.

3. Medgar Evers?
I think you're thinking of the wrong slain civil rights activist.

Evers was shot by Brian DeLebeckwith, or however the fuck it's spelled.

Convicted several years ago now.

Crap! Diane Rehm is talking about Medgar Evers, and I am crossing wires.

7. Michael Schwerner, Andrew Goodman, and James Chaney
Not criticizing you. But I wish people wouldn't remember them as characters in a Hollywood movie.

8. It's shorthand
It helps people get the idea as quickly as possible.

I would rather film be used to call attention to such matters more often. Beats another Jim Carrey flick.

9. That's not a bad thing
Being remembered is all that matters.
If the movie facilitates the memory, then so be it.
We cannot ever forget what this person did (not even going to say allegedly, cause he did it).
It is now time to pay the piper and as long as his black heart beats, he is well enough to stand up and receive his punishment.
I hope he rots in hell.

4. "his attorneys maintain he isn't well enough for a trial."
If he's still breathing, he's well enough. Who cares if he has the vapors?

Hmmm, all these theatrics on the first day of testimony, let's see what else he tries.
