Durbin was not criticizing our troops - he was criticizing our leadership! |
|
All the right-wingers, and now Scott McClellan, have accused Durbin of criticizing our troops. I never interpreted that way. I took it that he was saying Bush and Rumsfeld were acting like "Nazis"?? A real nice diversion to accuse him of badmouthing our troops...

1. Don't you know? Criticize anything, and you criticize the troops. |
|
Complain about the weather = criticizing NOAA = criticizing the government = criticizing * = criticizing the war = criticizing the troops.
It works for everything. Try it. It's fun.

3. Durbin tells the truth about administration |
|
and the right wing goes nuts.
If Durbin stays strong and doesn't back down, I have a feeling there will be more elected officials who speak out against *.

When the Republicans get all up in arms and offended by something some Democrat somewhere said, it almost certainly means that what was said was right.
The more those swine squeal, the more accurate Durbin was with his comments. After all, he was reading from an FBI report to get the details of the war crimes and crimes against humanity he was talking about. Are the Republicans going to start bad-mouthing the FBI the same way they bad-mouthed Amnesty International?

7. The well scripted response. 1. "Support Our Troops" 2. Wave flag. |
|
3. Deny allegations 4. Pat Boone to sing "God Bless America" 5. Promise "investigation" of allegations 6. Blame bottom of food chain 7. If a general, retire and be placed on board of directors of General Dynamics, Boeing, General Electric, or other armaments industry.
