ABC: Nancy R. goes to hospital had a fall

Just caught that " breaking news" info.

Sure we will have to see reruns of Ron and Nancy all day and all night - instead of DSM.

9. Yeah, Oy what timing. Did someone push her down a flight of stairs?
:tinfoilhat:

I don't put anything past these people, ANYTHING. The old gal has outlived her usefulness to the GOP and coming out publically for stem cell research, must have raised the hackles all over the White House.

2. Even if she had fallen, there's no guarantee the networks would have shown
the DSM hearings.

3. But tonight it will have to report Nancy

instead of the DSM info.

She will get all the attention IMO

7. They'll report what they think is important, whether it's Nancy Reagan,
a plane crash, or something else. They'll report what they think the viewers want to see.

That's the problem now that the news divisions of networks are now considered in the bottom line profit. Like cable news networks, all the networks are now slaves to ratings.

6. He may have been visiting her at the time

Hope she is OK , it didn't sound terrible.

She is supporting stem cell research and her children are Democrats so, she probably hates the Chimp as much as we do now.

5. yep
I guess she doesn't have to be missing. Being an upper-class white woman is enough to provide a distraction.

And so it goes. Friday News Dump Day.

8. Jumpin' beans on a pogo stick. It's always something.
The Honorable John Conyers: "My fellow Americans, we offer evidence of deception leading to the War on Iraq."

Enter a distraction, fabricated or otherwise.

The American public's response: Ooooh, look! Something shiny!
