At the United Nations:: Clap, no clap, silence, boo's, tepid clap???
I think there might be laughter, smirks, grins, maybe even a few howls of derusion. That man gonna make America look bad. I hope to hell not but his track record is horrid.

He has a lotta "Braveness" for attempting to eat crow in front of 968790 billion people on this Earth.

To eat the crow: Fork, spoon, ladle, chop sticks, fingers, tooth picks???

1. No. Nothing like that.
There will be polite clapping in the right spots and they'll let him walk off with his pride. Their turn will come afterwards.

2. Odds are
they'll listen politely, and clap politely.

What they say to each other off camera will be a different story.

8. there will be no booing.
There might be tepid applause and perhaps a casual indifference. But he will not be insulted in the General Assembly.

We're dealing with classy people here.

9. BOOOOOO!!! HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!
OK, They're diplomats, so booing might be a bit too much,
but a little hisssssss now and then would certainly be appropriate.

Applause from the UK and Israel and nobody else.

10. LOL....
No, no hissing, either. Well, at least let me say, that if there IS hissing, I'll be mightily surprised.

The real insults at the UN don't happen on the floor of the General Assembly. If they want to insult Bush, there are real, practical ways to do so. And I suspect we'll see some of them soon.

12. I know this would never happen, but I just wish that
the entire audience at the UN would all get up at once and leave. I guess Israel and the Soloman Islands would stay, but that would be great to see the camera pan on the diplomats leaving just as Chimp takes the podium.

14. Bush speech to the UN will be like Arafat's 1974 UN speech
Arafat was welcomed in the UN as a head of state, and gave a speech demanding a Palestinian state. Arafat was packing a gun when he gave a speech. His speech was that of a bully. A gangster demanding protection money from the international community.

I remember the speech well! I remember the part of the speech in which Arafat pointed a finger at the delegates and said that most of those sitting in the General Assembly were at one time terrorists. No one flinched! The Israeli ambassador was not present, I think he was puking in the men's room out of disgust.

Bush will do the same thing that Arafat did. Bush won't show up carrying an M-16, but the UN audience will be well aware of the military might that Bush is so willing to use against his enemies, real or imagined.

The irony of having the world's number one terrorist demand support from the UN on his turf war against other terrorists!
