Today I watched.

Today I hoped.

The Downing Street Minutes may have saved not only my country but
others as well. Our entire nation has you in its gratitude even though
so many do not realize it... yet. While disgusted at the corruption of
both politicians and media here in the USA, I have taken great faith
in the fact that others such as yourself were not so badly tainted.

Your source, your paper, and you have lit the fuse on a political bomb
that can only by its most serious implications lead to something that
will make Watergate look like a spanked toddler by comparison. I for
one (and I'm quite sure I'd be joined by million of others) look
forward to not only impeachment and indictment but most assuredly
prison time for these elected officials. They not only betrayed the
public trust here and abroad, they betrayed humanity itself on so many
different levels that there can be no other way for the US to reclaim
its good (if somewhat tarnished from time to time) name. I also
seriously believe that other citizens of the world should begin their
own investigations looking into the matter for putting said officials
on trial.

Enough of my ranting... this letter is about you. You have become a
hero of the highest order to myself and my friends at
democraticunderground.com . We have been watching the DSM saga since
the very day it was released. We are rejoiced to have found such an
ally as yourself, and what you have brought to the surface. Your
source is damn near deified in my mind at the moment.

Please avoid small planes and spending undue time alone (seriously we
worry about such things).
