Info Help please-people "suicided" before revealing info against Bush

I was having a conversation with an Evangelist co-worker. He was talking about China, and the human rights abuses, abuse and murder of church members and missionaries, etc. so I started to mention similar things happening here---people about to reveal info on the war, or PNAC etc.

He even said he wished our gov't would do more to help human rights abuses abroad, and that's what started me, knowing this gov't doesn't give a rat's ass about human rights abuses here or anywhere.

The problem is once again, my lousy memory for details. I could see he was totally writing me off.

this guy is an intelligent guy, but I get the impression he lives in that completely self contained fundy world, getting his news from christian conservative "news" outlets, drinking the cool-aid, homeschooling, thinking chimpy is a good christian.....

Can someone help me out, with some links?; Wash Post or NYT would probably be especially good since I think the Kool-aid drinkers may have more respect for them than an online blog (no matter how good the blog is). But any well researched sources would be welcome.

me and my crappy memory for details. Just recently I remember seeing something about a reporter or someone in London found 'suicided", but autopsy showed it was homicide. And that's all I can remember. See how crappy my memory is sometimes? Arggh. Makes me scream....

I want to cry when I know something but can't remember enough to reply to these people who don't even see what's going on here. I HATE looking like the loony bin they IMAGINE us to be.

So this is one of those rare occasions when I can go back and give him the info once I find it, since he started the conversation.

I know I remember seeing something here, and the source was something Wash Post.....

That's the kind of thing I'm looking for to give this guy. I just know anything copied from bushbodycount will have the bad bad "librul' wacko" label. The fundies are well conditioned to dismiss anything that doesn't come from a "reputable source". Their definition of reputable, of course.

Hunter Thompson was an actual suicide, I thought? Hadn't heard any rumblings about that one....

I do remember the story of Mr. Lemme. He was working with Clint Curtis and that group on a big story with the election. He was away out of town and was very happy about his daughter (only daughter and child) getting married. One day he was out of town and he was found dead in his hotel room. Whoever killed him proclaimed it was suicide but there were strange things with his enviornment surroundings at the time and in his "suicide" note he didn't mention his daughters wedding at all and how happy he was for her.

grandstanding at the funeral, then accusing dems of using it for political gain (oh god, they make me puke...excuse me...uggg)

Other than that, I couldn't remember enough details, and I never heard any evidence mentioned. Yeah, I think it was way tooooo convenient, but the only kind of thing I could stick in this guy's hands would have to be short, sweet and smoking enough. I don't think the "Praise Bush, Bush is Lord" people are going to stick around for anything that requires too much thinking counter to their rigid beliefs (like Amerika is Good. Bush is the Good Christian President. You can trust Authority. God chose Bush. Bush is Amerika......know whut ah mean?)
