DSM Hearings - questions on whats next
- Is this hearing just today?

- It is unofficial, what does that mean? What would make it official?

- What happens next? After today or whenever the hearings end what are the next possible steps??

1. Over half a million people are demanding a formal inquiry.
Conyers letter demands a formal inquiry.

The Democrats will certainly demand one along with some honorable Republicans.

Then, impeachment and indictments (I hope hope hope)!

2. It need not be... here is the point
They work for us, and the "us" are making it clear that we want answers. That makes it official and you will see Republican "sane ones" capitulate.

3. It means its an unofficial hearing...
Until more republicans, judiciary republican sign on it is not an official hearing. They are launching a resolution of Inquiry, says the agent in charge of foreign affairs.

4. No, well beyond that...
You have Republican Senators joining. This is official enough to be official enough.

5. Yep
I think as more time goes by more republicans (moderates like McCain) will be joining. It's already begun with Mr. Duncan and Mr. Walters (I believe that's his name). 2006 is coming up and they've all seen the polls. They have to worry about re-election and Bush/Cheney don't (even though they stole it).
