hannity calling on durbin to resign
Edited on Thu Jun-16-05 04:25 PM by Adenoid_Hynkel
for 'insulting our brave men in uniform"

funny how hannity didn't have a problem with the GOP rhetoric post-Waco that insulted ATF agents in uniform, eventually escalating to Liddy instructing listeners on how to best murder them. This over-the-top rightwing extremism of course, culminated in the OKC bombing in 1996
(liddy, incidentally, was a guest on sean's show recently and was called 'a great american")
so in sean's world
criticizing administration policy on Gitmo=bad, a smear of the troops, even though the decisions are made at the top

advocating killing officers in the line of duty=acceptable

welcome to bizarro earth

7. I repeat, when Wes Clark appears tomorrow
I'd like him to kindly cut that man's heart out and feed it to him. Assuming of course they can find it before the end of the show.

They always do this. They did it to Teddy as well. No we do not blame the soldiers. We blame the leaders.

It may take Wes Clark about 7 or 8 hours to find the heart.

24. Clark is on Hannity tomorrow!
Sweeeeeeet! would you PM me the greatest hits, I can't stomach Hannity.

Maybe for Clark I can, since Clark ALWAYS hands the talking heads their hats right before he punches them in the gut!

Y'all shouldn't miss it, Clark with DSM info, to beautiful to pass up.

But just in case I can't watch it, I have a friend in the hospital, please make sure that there is a good thread up about it.

the nuance of what Dick Durbin was saying. No one blames the troops except the people in the White House who wrote and approved the torture policy.

It's ironic how quick the right is to grab the troops and use them as a human shield whenever the topic turns to the wisdom and morality of the orders given to them by their civilian leaders. I can see how this comes naturally to Bush since he has had servants to protect him his whole life, but it must take a little more practice for you since your natural calling selling aluminum siding or at best posing for Brylcreme ads.

8. What branch did Hannity serve in?
Edited on Thu Jun-16-05 04:27 PM by RalphReedsWreckedEm
Oh, that's right - he dropped out of high school and got his GED and never attended college and then painted houses and hung sheetrock until he got a job at some hick racist radio station in Alabamuh.

So what the f*ck does he know about our "brave men in uniform?"

He don't know diddly dick.

15. Hypocrite alert!
Hannity calling on someone to resign because they "insulted our men and women in uniform"?

And yet he constantly has Oliver North guest host both Hannity & Colmes and his radio show?

Wow, amazing.

I'm sure Senator Durbin will file Hannity's complaint away in the "to-do trash" pile. *g*

16. Blowhard El-Rushbo was saying same thing this afternoon.
Actually he was hysterical with his shrill All-American bravado. He called Durbin every dirty name in the book and said he should resign "immediately." I guess "immediately" to Rush means before he can pop his next Oxy.

17. Bushites hide their cowardly criminal selves behind the brave troops.
You can't hide in the shadows of the troops you betray every day with your lies and your idiot wars and your torture and your rejection of every principle that made this country great.

You haven't the guts to say that Durbin insulted our proto fascist Great Bushi Leader and therefore must go. So you drag in your betters in the military you wouldn't serve in for a million dollars.

Yes, looking at the DSM, it's clear that Bush should be impeached for lying us into an occupation designed to make money for his corporate sponsors.

27. Then WTF was Cleland, Kerry, and McCain?
Was Max Cleland not a brave man in uniform? Where's Hannity spouting off for Chambliss to resign for comparing Cleland to Saddam Hussein?

What about McCain? Did he not serve his country with honor and bravery? Why isn't Hannity calling on BUSH to resign for insulting him with his smear campaign?

Kerry? God the list goes on. That blowhard coward never served a day in his life if I recall. Why doesn't his pansy ass go to Iraq then? Maybe then I'll give two shits about what his "thoughts" are on US Senators.
