The announcement comes the same week that Vice President
Dick Cheney and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld defended the jail after U.S. lawmakers said it had created an image problem for the United States.

15. We were building camps for Haitian refugees in Cuba in 1998.
Or 1999.

Either way we've broken the US-Cuba Treay that gave Guantanimo to the US for a lease of some $4,000 a year. That treaty could be broken by one of the two parties. Cuba has asked to break it, we have refused, they have refused the paltry lease.

9. Wow, Dick Cheney DEFENDING Halliburton? What a shocker!
And the corporate media says that Halliburton getting so much money has nothing to do with the fact that Dick Cheney was the former CEO of the company. I'm SHOCKED! :sarcasm:
