a person met whatever requirements were established to be classified as a 'legal combatant', which I think is a term they manufactured. When the FOIA documents came out I reviewed one case. Whatever evidence that led the tribunal to determine the mans status was 'classified'. There was zero un-classified information to warrant his imprisonment. It appears that if you were anywhere around the Middle-East after 9/11 you would have a shot at a one way ticket to Gitmo.
