What anti-war group are you referring to with your headline:

on June 17, 2005

There was no anti-war group in represented in the trailer sized room with Congressman John Conyers. I signed that petition that he delivered to the white house and I am not a member of an anti-war group.

By saying it was an "antiwar group" saying "leaked British memo shows bush misled public on his war plans" you TRIVIALIZE it. I have been following this story for over forty days, since it first appeared on the timesonline. To my knowledge there is no anti war group that is calling for an inquiry on this memo--it is the American people (over 500,000 signatures).

Your paper certainly showed its bias today with this little throw-away headline.

I hope you run a correction on this (a correction on this obvious biased statement) because the New York times has been one of two newspapers I continue to occassionally read--and if your paper starts altering the news I will dismiss the validity of it as easily as I have with so many others as of late.

Perhaps a better headline might be: "Leaked Downing Street Minutes Shows Bush Administration Lied to America and Congress about the Need to go to War." Try that one!"
