If the DSM is such huge news why haven't the British press and politicians
made much of a fuss about it?, I DO believe it's a huge story but I'm afraid this will fizzle out like so many other revelations and documents have.

1. Have you watched BBC news at all lately?
They've been all over it for some time. It's not just the london's publications, it's also in the British executive investigations committee.

2. It's on the BBC web site.
Not a huge article, but it's there, and I thought it was rather well-written.

Keep the faith :)

12. I did. Emailed BBC TV News earlier asking if they're covering the event.
Sent this message:

Just wondering if News 24 has plans to cover the U.S. Congressional hearings on the Downing Street Memo, which is live now on CSPAN3 at cspan.org. From a blog I'm told that every major U.S. TV network is covering the hearings, but audience members can't tell if BBC News has a crew there. Will BBC cover this event as well?

4. What makes you think that? You obviously haven't been monitoring
the British press or you would never have ventured the statement you posted.

6. I do keep track of the British press and I have seen it mentioned but
without the emphasis it warrants

5. Do you have a link?
I haven't seen the video. When Blair and Bush announced that Blair was coming over to discuss aid to Africa, my antenna went up. Why in the world would Blair need to come all the way to the U.S. to discuss that topic? It made no sense. Decisions about how much aid to award are not usually made by the very top leaders. What a phony bunch.

11. Yes, how about this link:

Also, bear in mind that the additional documents posted on the Internet since last weekend and verified by NBC Network News received saturation coverage in the British press when they were first leaked back in September.

7. My understanding is that it has been all over the European press...
The only place it hasn't been reported is in the good ol' USA... I would think that Tony Blair is getting more heat on this story right at this moment than Bush...

9. Some other nations need to take us to the UN for sanctions
Our only hope is that the rest of the world outside of the UK, Israel and Saudi Arabia and Australia will take us to the world court or to the UN and ask that sanctions be placed on the US government. The citizens of Iraq ought to take us to court also.
If we admit that we attacked Iraq during Desert Storm and wanted to incite the Iraqis to overthrow Saddam but did not support them, thus leaving thousands to be killed by Saddam, is it Saddam's fault that he killed many of those who rose up against him trying to overthrow his government? What can he be charged with? Defending his own government? He paid for invading Kuwait but Bush has not paid for invading Iraq. What court of law as the moral authority to convict Saddam and not Bush?

10. Blairs party suffered big losses
The British media was all over it WHEN IT CAME OUT. Rmember its 6 weeks later and finally our press is reacting to it.
