I just got back from the Conyers rally in Lafayette Square.

It was fantastic! I was there for an hour and met some DUers. A shout out to The Witch, Pachamama(she flew in all the way from Cali) and Will Pitt. It was great meeting you all. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see Conyers, Waters or Tom Hayden speak, I had to run back to work, literally. But my girlfriend stuck around and said it was fantastic, everyone spoke then the whole group of about 400+ went over to the gate of the Whitehouse. My girlfriend was interviewed by the BBC. All in all, a great protest!

7. The freeptard contingency was pathetic as usual.

There were five including the main DC freeptard, the guy with the beard. Oh then their numbers swelled to around seven, seriously. Really lame, they were thoroughly ignored.

10. There were a lot of tourist who got caught up

In the moment, taking pictures, several people approached me to take my picture. I would always say, "Let's move over here, and take it so that the Whitehouse is in the background." Then I would hold up my "Bush is a Liar" sign. It was great. There was a guy in the Abu Gahraib hood standing with electrical wires in front of the Whitehouse and another guy walking around with a Vampire Bush mask on looking for oil instead of blood. It was great.
