at Gitmo, Abu G, and all the other US prisons around the world....that it's basically just frat boys goofing off (according to Rush)
they, like I did, watched a lot of Hogan's Heroes shows....when they first aired and the many times they've been recycled
they think this show depicts the reality of a POW camp
they think all the guards are just like 'lovable (I see nothing)' Sergeant Schultz and that the camps are run just as 'strictly' as Colonel Klink ran his camp
just another instance of the RW being unable to recognize the difference between reality and their internal 'rewriting'

WHAT you're doing, but what people THINK you're doing! You know the old story about perception is real! I guess they really believe in the innocent till proven guilty, but that's just not the real world!
It's unfortunate in most cases, but if a lot of people THINK you did something wrong, it's a very difficult thing to disprove, but it's very necessary.

Yeah, they aren't torturing them, or making them get naked and do jumping jacks, or flushing, or peeing on the Koran or any other holy symbols that they have...oh wait, damn. WE ARE!!! My bad...:P
