PBS Newshour, DSM, Robb-Silverman Report?

Their PNAC guest who appeared opposite McGovern
tonight cited that he believes the Robb-Silverman Report's
conclusion about WMD in Iraq, lies about what the
report said...

...then uses the lame lie that the it's the inteligience
community's fault, it's all bad Tenet.

And then he hits everybody up with the "it's a post-9/11
world, whatever we do is okay" song and dance.


Total PNAC Perle disciple, same slimy, oily,
nasty, snide, smug...

McGovern tried, but it was the same old blanket of
lies, trying to dismiss the memo with a wave or the
royal hand.

And Margeret Warner let him get away with all of it.

2. I couldn't believe how uninformed Margaret Warner

seemed this evening. She played (or actually was) dumb on one point (it's too late and i can't rememebr what it was) and it floored me.

3. Like she deliberately misinterpeted what McGovern

said about Afghanistan leading into Iraq, the
Bush/Blair conversation documented by the former
Brit ambassador.

And then she ran out the clock on him.
