DSM reminds me of early period of the Clinton/Monica scandal
When the Clinton/Monica scandal first started getting reported it was sporadic at best and not taken too seriously by MSM. I remember not being too worried about it and thinking it would start to fade. Instead, each week something new came out and then suddenly it was ALL OVER THE NEWS!!!!

I don't have much faith in the MSM but if something starts getting interest like we have seen on Yahoo with the DSM story being ranked third then the media can't help but start reporting on it because it brings in viewers.

The onion is just starting to get it's hard skin pealed away and once the soft tissue is exposed then hopefully layer after layer will start to come off and we will have a full fledged scandal and impeachment! It could get very nasty in the end! We can only have hope and keep rating the articles up as well as contact the media as much as possible.

Subject: corrected letter , sorry (Earthquake)

XXXXX

To the Editor,

Today I point to you to another quake, no, not the one that shook the Southland today, by Southland standards this one was a nice ride. I point to you to the earthquake that happened in the bowels of the US House. Yes the elephant in the room called the Downing Street Minutes. I will also point to you that the word Impeachment was mentioned today, as lying to the Congress in a matter as serious as war rises to the level of High Crimes and Misdemeanors under the US Constitution.

There is no doubt in my mind that if this hearing is even covered by the San Diego Union Tribune, it may end up on the back pages of the paper, safely out of sight and out of mind. Never mind this, and the signatures of 560,000 Americans, and 120 members of Congress, make this now an urgent matter that SHOULD be covered.

No, I am no longer nice. What is your cut? Why are you participating in this cover up? Oh and lastly, you do realize you are being replaced and you are the stenography corp, taking dictation from the department of truth.

So I guess a dress with some semen is more offensive than war.. the death of 1715+ US troops, and 10,000 + Iraqis... I'd say our national priorities are all wrong, and the Republicans are truly followers of Mammon and hold to a culture of death.

Sincerely,

2. Absolutely...there could be a silver lining in the
theft of the second election. A full blown intense scandal involving the deaths of thousand at the cost of hundreds of billion could oust rethugs from all power for many years to come.

It could cause irrevocable damage!

6. I'm encouraged...
Today's Downing Street Inquiry was indeed a moving and momentous occasion. The modesty of the location gracefully highlighting the patriotism and bravery those involved. I think we shall see the events of today echoed in the pages, and films of the future.

Joe Wilson did an excellent job of showing how his good faith and well founded information that Iraq did not, and could not gain access to Uranium from Niger was systematically ignored, even admit repeated faxes and phone-calls from the CIA saying the exact same thing . This how intelligence information becomes - "Dead Wrong" - when those who are charged with making the key decisions based on that information willfully ignore it.

Cindy Sheehan's presense was particularly powerful - how do you claim those who participated in this meeting were "unpatriotic" when the mother of a fallen U.S. Soldier sitting front and center?

The only Treason here, was performed by the Bush Administration when they sent our young sons and daughters to fight, kill and die on false pretenses.

Former CIA Operative, Ray McGovern, made a dramatic revelation that on Saddam's Son-in-Law had defected in 1995 and stated that all of Iraq's Biological, Chemical and Nuclear Weapons materials had been destroyed in July of 1991, under his order.

John Bonifaz of AfterDowningStreet.org made a pointed case that the deception that is alleged by the Downing Street Minutes reveletion, are in fact, Impeachable Offenses and that a serious and thorough Congressional Investigation needs to take place in order to determine if such a High Crime or Misdeameanor did actually occur. And further, that a criminal investiation of senior Bush Administration officials (Cheney, Rice and Rumsfeld) for violation of RICO as well as the lying to Congress should be initiated. (On this he falls in line with Amnesty International President William Schultz, who stated just a short time ago that senior Bush Administration Officials should be investigated and prosecuted for International War Crimes)

(Conyers delivering his letter to the White House)

Today was a step forward, but it is far from the last step. From what I can tell, the MSM continues to be relatively reluctant at embracing the ramifications of the DSM. For this we need to be understanding, it is not a small thing to suggest that our President has commited such a crime against his own nation and the world. We should proceed with caution, but also with perseverence and courage. Those who seek the truth are indeed Fighting the Good Fight.

The battle ahead will be long, bloody, ugly and unpleasant. But it's a battle we must have, or else begin to see the final fall of the rule of law, the final fall of our Constitution and our Democracy. This is a battle for the very soul of America, and for bringing forth a vision of the nation that either does or does not recognize fact, truth, law and justice. We can NOT afford to lose this fight -- so everyone, from the left, center and right -- let's get ready
to RUMBLE!!!

And may be the best vision of America Win.

7. we need Bill Clinton Back!
Edited on Fri Jun-17-05 05:33 AM by extropianDreams
did u see Bill Clinton on Letterman? oh, to have a leader of the free world be able to explain what's going on. now I understand the issue with N. Korea. u shoulda seen him dance around the DSM question from Dave. {I think he was trying to respect that it was a UK EYES ONLY document.} he and Hillary must practice together. they both can sound tuff about Republican shenanigans but manage to leave it up in the air.
at least he got in about how Cheney was hangin' out with da spooks.

even Bill Clinton is self-delusional. he espoused to being an asshole buddy with Papa Bush and essentially supported the war yet I still want him back as president! I don't really claim to know what the best outcome regarding the war; regardless of what I want it will be going on tomorrow, next week, next month and likely next year.

the incursion in Iraq is a finite enterprise. {it's like ya don't know what to call it since everyone wants to *support* the troops by sending them M&Ms and videogames but at the same time they're part of an Imperialist Invasion. ya can't even put 9/11 on 'em, right?}

there will be a time when relative peace will be restored until then realize the peace and prosperity around u. food, shelter and broadband. -_-
