Argentina, U.S.A.
During the regimes of the generals in Argentina in the 70's people would just disappear never to be seen again. The regime was asassinating or "renditioning" people it disliked just like Rumsfeld is doing today.

Then came the mothers in Buenos Aires who started clinking their pots and pans demanding an accounting. At first they were dismissed as cranks. But the volume grew louder and louder as more and more mother joined in.That got Salvador Allende elected.Nixon and Kissinger,of course, ordered his assassination and Argentina entered a period of darkness like we are going through now.

Yesterday, when I heard Cindy Sheehan, those days in Argentina came back to me.The righteous wrath of a mother who has lost her son is a fearsome force. The Bush criminals do not understand that underneath the mild demanor of Cindy, the force of a tsunami is building and is gathering pace. When you add people like Kristen Breiweiser and Ellen Mariani, the wifes and mothers of 9/11 whose questions have been contemtuously disregarded, I can see a repeat of Argentina at home.

Let us let the mothers lead the way. They are our angels.
