Bill "Ken Doll" Hemmer leaving CNN?! |
|
Wow, he must have a hot offer from Entertainment Tonight! All the cast of cable's other popular fake news channel, CNN, are saying good-byes and gushing over his wonderfulness...I never heard he was leaving until today, when he's on his way out the door. Wonder what's up? Whatever, Bill "Ken" Hemmer can proudly place at the top of his resume the fact that he lasted 10 years on CNN without ever having to ask anyone a tougher question than "How's the weather?"

1. This asshole was apparently a lawyer. |
|
Which only further confirms my belief that some of the dumbest fucking people in this country are lawyers. I don't buy for one second that law school is as hard as they say.

5. If an idiot like Frist can make it through med school, |
|
even a Ken Doll should be able to handle law. Then again, how good could his grades have been? He wound up reading pre-scripted fake news bits on basic cable, next to the only "anchor" more vacuous than he in all of television, Sosobad O'Brian.

8. Don't get me started on Soledad. |
|
A few weeks ago, she interviewed the poor guy in Florida who's little daughter was raped and killed. Mind you, he was a single father because his wife died. Soledad, the most souless, sorry excuse for humanity this side of Dick Cheney, kept asking questions asking specifically how he felt about his daughter getting brutally killed. The questions were so disgraceful that I had to change the channel, and I'm not one with a weak stomach by ANY means.

I know, it's immature, but I need something to laugh about.

I have the frightening image of Hemmer at retirement age, still with that vaccuous grin, still without a single thought in his head, asking folks in the nursing home what they think about the Michael Jackson trial... all the while chatting amiably to a Soledad who hasn't been next to him for decades.

|
"Sittin' there, I could see right down her her top, I could! She was always shakin' those boobies at me...I knew she wanted me. It was so obvious. But then, that Gupta fella was kinda cute, too..."

11. He certainly sucked up enough to be one. I have never |
|
liked him. My daughter said he looked like Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Unfortunately he is the typical "news" commentator we now have on cable.

9. They're Fleeing Like Rats At CNN |
|
Once again, I invoke my prayer to the gods of Progressive Money to have George Soros and Teresa Heinz and Mark Cuban and whomever else call Ted Turner and offer to back him so he can rebuy CNN and turn it into a REAL news network.
God knows one could make lots of $$$ as well as being good for America.

on Saturday afternoons, and if you check the showpage for "In The Money" they've got a video named "Au Revoir, Jack"...

12. CNN was getting ready to demote Hemmer, plain and simple, |
|
and replace him with someone more likeable.
So he's deciding to "move on to bigger and better things". Yeah, right, Bill. What exactly is it, then that you're moving on to?
I think it's all just part of a big shake-up in their morning shows.

I can't believe nobody else has said that yet. I thought it was the most obvious thing I'd ever seen from the first time I saw him on CNN.
