NYT Online has DSM Story buried deep on Washington Page....
At least they covered it...took me a while to find it as it was not mentioned on their featured peices at all in the daily email I get from them...

http://www.nytimes.com/2005/06/17/politics/17downing.ready.html?

They do have a very good pix of the panel:

(Stephen Crowley/The New York Times) At a forum in Washington on Thursday, seated from left, Joseph Wilson, an ex-ambassador; Cindy Sheehan, whose son was killed in Iraq; Ray McGovern, an ex-C.I.A. analyst; and John Bonifaz, an antiwar

1. It wasn't a headline but it did appear on the first online page today.

5. You're right about it being shameful. The NYT was a major
advocate for the war with Judith Miller being their Tokyo Rose, and they are still not acknowleding this smoking gun -

But the intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy.

2. Is Drudge hijacked?
I wanted to see if Drudge is reporting the DSM hearings and his site looks like it has been hijacked. :D

6. Do you think those two guys standing are bodyguards or spooks?
Why is McGovern looking at them?

Have you ever seen two more SS looking guys standing behind a panel of witnesses?

One even has SS sunglasses.

7. No, they are the father and brother of Servicemen KIA
The one on the left is a father from Great Britain whose son was KIA in Iraq; the young guy is the brother of an American KIA in Iraq.

You can watch the hearings tonight, supposed to be re-broadcast on C-Span2 at 8 EDT. They introduce themselves at the end.

8. I apologize to them. Guess my paranoia runs deep, will all credit
for my paranoia going to the cabal. I remember the days before dark paranoia set in on us, the days when we could check out a book without anyone more than a busy body caring.
