IF the Relgious RW supports Bush -- why the "shortfall in recruiting" ???
I would have thought that all the RW Religious "hate mongers" would

have thier congregations lining up to serve "commander bunnypants".

1. Roger that Teammate
They are too busy showing off their magnets; and way too cowardly to enlist which would be the ultimate sign of supporting our troops. gary bauer (pond scum) was whining about the media depicting Iraq as being a terrible place to be as the reason for not meeting recruiting goals. More bizarro world bullshit. But did constitution hating bauer once suggest that his kind raise their right hand? Of course not, that would take honor, courage and commitment. There isn't any mention of hate in the oath of enlistment; therefore its not very attractive to the religiously insane.

And please everyone, ask them why they are not in uniform. This 24 year military veteran would like to know.

2. Cuz repukes are all talk and no action. Look at what pres. nosepicker
did on 9/11.. HE RAN AWAY AND HID BEHIND HIS MAMMA'S SKIRT!

then, from the safety of his own home he declares "bring em on!".

while kerry had boots on the ground in vietnam and dodging bullets by the enemy, AWOL Bush was home snortin' coke and flying obselete planes.

all talk and NO ACTION!!

3. "Support"
for them means having a "W" sticker on their car. Actually signing up is for fools.

12. I made a very nice laminated F the President sign
I keep it in my car. When I see a W the President sticker I make sure I take out my sign and stick it as close to the offending vehicle's driver as possible. Since Dr. Dean started setting our path I take no shit from any of these enablers.

4. They're like a friend I had years back
Everytime we were out drinking, he'd try to instigate a fight. Not that he wanted to be in one personally, it was always "let's you and him fight". That is the same attitude we see from many of the supporters of this fiasco. They're the kind that like to say "we're kicking their asses" while sitting on their own fat ass in the comfort of a bar or their living room.

people of color, the poor, that sort of thing.

Lawdy we could never support our troops by actually supporting our troops!

10. Boy, You Don't Know Anything, Do You?
There is no shortfall in recruiting. The evil liberal media is spreading lies about how too few people want to join the military to kill brown people. There's lots of brave young people just itching to go shoot some darker people, and be good patriotic americans.

If only the liberal media would quit lying!

Edited on Fri Jun-17-05 10:09 AM by in_cog_ni_to
When the idiot reinstates the draft....If they won't enlist and put THEIR lives where THEIR support lies...DRAFT THEIR ASSES!

They're all talk, no courage and are more than willing to let YOUR child go die in Iraq. :grr: They aren't getting my son. That's for damn sure. A PROMISE.

15. What we should do
hand out the addresses (while using the "vacuous stare" of the righties) of the "Thursday afternoon Patriot meetings" - making sure that the address reflects (not in name) the local recruiting offices . . . make sure that these are being done to show the "liberals" the true patriots who support W & the troops . . .

21. They have no sense of responsibility
most of the young republiscum I have talked to are so self absorbed they don't have a clue what the duties of citizenship are. They think they can contribute more to the effort by supporting rather than serving. Cowardice comes to mind often when I talk with them. I have met many former republicans at my VFW post. They went in Repubs and came out Dems. Or years later they realized that the Repubs were not really Vet friendly.

In EVERY *fundie "church" parking lot should have an enlistment form under the windshield when the "true believers" return to it after whatever "activity they are attending.

23. obviously recruiters R trolling in all the wrong
places....instead of badgering kids in school, they should B flanking the stage of the super churches and standing @ the exits after services. I'm certain they would have their quota in no time...........NOT! If these rabid, rat bastards can tell people who 2 vote for w/o losing their tax-exempt status - the can certainly host a 'love your local recruiter' sunday once or twice a month.
