Please Tell me the Last Time Limbaugh, or Hannity ever Apologized???
Please post a link to their various apologies over the years for the hate filled speech they spew. Someone show me where Rush apologized for saying "Democrats want more Americans Killed in Iraq". Or describing American Woman as FemiNAZI's.

I mean, I'm just asking. Since they are so vociferously demanding an apology from Sen Durbin, I think they should start by giving us an example of one time they apologized for their hatred and lies.

Limbaugh's TV show--"Here is a Limbaugh joke: Everyone knows the Clintons have a cat. Socks is the White House cat. But did you know there is a White House dog?" And he puts up a picture of Chelsea Clinton. Chelsea Clinton is 13 years old.

"One of the things I want to do before I die is conduct the Homeless Olympics... the 10-meter Shopping Cart Relay, the Dumpster Dig, and the Hop, Skip and Trip." (L.A. Times, 1/20/91)

On NAFTA: "If we are going to start rewarding no skills and stupid people--I'm serious, let the unskilled jobs, let the kinds of jobs that take absolutely no knowledge whatsoever to do--let stupid and unskilled Mexicans do that work." (Radio show quoted in FRQ, Fall/93)

Speculating on why a Mexican national won the New York marathon: "An immigration agent chased him for the last 10 miles." (USA Weekend, 1/26/92)

This is asinine! A Caesar Chavez Day in California? Wasn't he convicted of a crime?" (Quotedin FRQ, Winter/94)

"Kurt Cobain was, ladies and gentleman, I just--he was a worthless shred of human debris..." (TV show, 4/11/94)

"When a gay person turns his back on you, it is anything but an insult ; it's an invitation." (Quoted in FRQ, Summer/94)

"Feminism was established to allow unattractive women easier access to the mainstream." (Quoted in FRQ, Summer/93)

3. Lefties
would have to walk a long way to even set foot in the nasty, spiteful, bitter neighborhood where Rush lives. He's so disconnected with reality he confuses hatred with truth.

Go to hell, Rush.

Oh, wait...you're already there. Nevermind.

5. They, and Bush, never
apologize. They lack the ability to see the world beyond their selfish interests. They're vainglorious egotists. Pathologically narcissistic. And miserable human beings. I feel sorry for the people in their personal lives.

7. .
I understand the driving force behind the thread, but I don’t see the argument as pliable in this case. You are comparing TV/radio personalities to Senator Durbin? Rush & Hannity (The gateway contributors to dumbassism) can say whatever they want to, short of slander, without recourse or public outcry. Their job is to be controversial….

8. I Concur to a Point
but they are calling for a US Senator to apologize, or in one case resign.

If they would just STFU, then I would not point out their remarkable hypocrisy.

and I am sick of hearing them called "TV/Radio personalities"!!! They are nothing more than a propaganda arm for the Republicans. Bought and paid for by the Republicans! Coached by the Republicans!! Deified by the Republicans!!!! and Working for the Republicans!!!!!!!

I'm sick of the Republicans being able to hide behind these pieces of shit.

At some point in the future, these "ass-pickles" will be held accountable the way Goebbels was held accountable.

The world didn't simply say; "well, Goebbels was an entertainer".

LOL..I can't say I don't feel your pain. Unfortunately, These guys (methods may be a better phrase)are the future of politics. Thats just my opinion. Wait until they get their own version of Michael Moore. Who knows it may be Mel G.

I can't look, or listen to that fat POS J.D. Hayworth with his slick radio voice and snake oil salesman charm, and not think that he's Rush and Sean's secret love child.

Only real question I have is, when Sean and Rush get together, Who does the "catching"?

14. They have a foolproof (at least to their fans) defense...
Whenever an AM hate radio blowhard like Limbaugh, Hannity, or Michael "Savage" Weiner is called out on a particularly heinous quote, they just claim it was taken out of context. If you quote an entire segment, they claim it's still taken out of context. Since they're only really catering to their particular little segment of the radical right fringe, they can make this claim and rest assured that no one will investigate long enough to learn otherwise.

Hell, even the Regnery peanut gallery uses this defense and their words are in print.

I listen to Limbaugh off and on during my lunch break, usually just to laugh at the absurdity of his shtick. He uses this excuse anytime MMfA catches him belly-flopping off into the deep end.

They aren't accountable to anyone except their advertisers and distributors. At least the independent broadcasters aren't. I guess if Hannity works for ABC or FOX or whoever he is accountable to them.
