DSM coverage coming up on CNN
on the actual news show they run now between 12:00-1:00. Supposedly they will cover the 'reaction' of the White House... that shouldn't take long since I'm sure there isn't one, but then they are supposed to talk about Conyers too.

8. seriously and now GOP whore Bill Schneider is acknowledging
the importance of the DSM--not because he feels it's an important document, but because public support is so low for the war now that people are looking at 'how we got into this mess.'

10. The story the US media was blistered for under reporting, now the story
that seemingly won't go away...

6. They showed 30 seconds of Cindy Sheehans testimony.
I noticed that they are using a feed from CNN International. I was wondering why so much real news was being covered. Now I know why.

13. So, they covered it. Will they obsess with it like they do other stuff?
Or will they just do a hit-n-run?

14. I'm hoping it's not a hit and run.
This is one time I'm hoping for obsession. After all, this is real drama with real life players. It's like a soap opera with our own politicians as the starring characters. If this is played right (and they know how to do it), they could make big bucks off of this, too. Just get everybody hooked. If they can do it with some of these other things, they can do it with this.

15. Bill Schneider reluctantly leads CNN to exit strategy from Bush's ass
yup, they are dropping the monkey.

I have begun see their surrender everywhere, from Schneider to William Kristol, to neocon flacks from the AEI: they are busted and will try to withdraw with dignity to try again later, the next time our attention lapses. The Nazi Putsch knows when it has lost--they'll try to hide out for awhile and recoup (as it were) and hope we don't prosecute them, like with Poppy.

16. yeah, I love Schneider's defense that the DSM
is only an important document because people are 'fed up' with the war & want to know how we got into this mess. He always refers to the public w/ such condescending analysis. Actually, Bill, you're covering it because the PUBLIC wouldn't let you sandbag this one!
We know how we got into this mess & it's time for fucks like you to cover it. :end rant:
