the reviews are in: Bush Iraq speech is a masterpiece

Bush isn't scheduled to give the speech until June 28, but the whores are already working on their rave reviews.

Things are getting out of control with these poll numbers. Helping him "soften his image" by going into siezures of delight over Laura Bush's scripted comedy performance didn't slow down Bush's declining numbers, and neither did going apeshit over the Howard Dean non-story.

So what they'll have to do is manufacture another phony "turning point" with Bush's speech. They'll say that it changed the whole dynamic of the war, they'll say the insurgents are freaked out, they'll say the dems are in disarray, they'll say a lot of other crap. Peggy Noonan will scare everyone with her insane ravings.

That's my prediction, anyway. We'll see.

Oh, and it's not going to work, Bush's numbers will continue to plummet.
