KEEP HAMMERING - the neocons are stumbling.
We have the momentum!!!

The RiGht is in full on defense mode!! The polls are in the toilet! All they have is "Durbin say bad things".

All they have is "this is old news" - so they admit it!!!!!!

The DSM is going Mianstream!!!! Don't let it die over the weekend!!

If you can email, fax and write Congress, Senate and Coroporate owned media. LTTE's would be nice too.

Flood them!! The Tsunami of TRUTH is coming Georgie!!! Put on your water wings.

33. DUDE --- this needs to be a separate thread!!!
I just pasted that list and sent a short message asking them to cover the memo...

This request is to ask you to please aggressively cover the Downing Street Memo. Those who have loved ones in harm's way in Iraq deserve to know the extent to which this administration has gone to deceive the media, Congress, and the American people into believing that the invasion and occupation of Iraq was a necessity.

Thank you,
Name and Location

Look out below!

Most people still haven't heard about the DSM. Wait til some of them "get it!"

16. Here's a new theme - Let the Red Cross in Gitmo
It seems to me that it is a lot harder to argue against this than comparing Gitmo to Hitler, etc.

If they have nothing to hide, and are being treated humanely, why isn't the red cross involved. We would expect nothing less if our citizens or soldiers were being held by an enemy.

This is not to say that I don't agree with what Durbin said. I just wish the debate was more substantive than -

Dem - You're a Fascist
'pub - Take that Back!

17. Red Cross to Gitmo

Wasn't Sen. Dole's wife head of the Red Cross?
They should welcome the opportunity to sponsor such a cause.
Ha!

Let's roll with the idea.
They are always saying we have no answers - well here is an answer!
Call in the Red Cross.

25. The AMERICAN RED CROSS?
You are kidding me right? As a former member of the Mexican red Cross I can tell you right now the ARC has a spotted record when it comes to the Geneva Convention, you see the ARC puts American ahead of Geneva... and it will take the ICRC to set up shop in DC with full access to clean up shop... just as it took with the Mexican Red Cross to a point, or El Salvador.

27. The ICRC for sure
And the ARC has been there in limited capacity - but they ICRC needs full time access.

Unless, of course, the US military has something to hide...

18. Yes!
If they're doing nothing wrong, then throw open the doors and let in the daylight. If they have nothing to hide, then they should agree to this. We need to hammer this to the media!

21. I agree. I think Durbin's comments were part of a game plan.
He's running interference for DSM. While Republicans are outraged by Durbin, most of their attention is off DSM. They're focused on Durbin. All Durbin has to do is wait it out two weeks until the photos of US troops raping Iraqi children get released, then all of his comments will be obviously justified. It's the old double switcheroo.

the world champion (or domination in our case here...) has just been punished so hard by our last one-two punch, that he barely can keep standin' up on his two feet right now...

THEN, we smile in reassurance, swing our right arm as far back as we possibly can, and here comes the final KO in about... (?) well, it's been such a long match so far, let's enjoy it in "slow motion" for a while. LOL!

"yeah baby! yo goin' down baby, yeah baby, now c'mon baby!!!!"

We can keep the DSM alive, Bush is guilty of going to war under false pretenses. Investigative reporting in the US. -- corporate media refuses to touch it.

Keep it kicked baby!

36. Anybody seen this information?
It's from british government officials.

"Short told the committee that the decision to go to war had already been taken last summer. ( 2002 ) She said that “three extremely senior people in the Whitehall system” had told her the decision had been made by President Bush and Prime Minister Blair, and the “target date was mid-February and later extended to March because of a difficulty with the Turks and so on and to give our prime minister a little more time.”

38. Iraq is a bridge too far
They're overextended and are now in retreat on all fronts. Its a
pleasure to see. They are fighting rear guard actions that they
are not seen as racists (lynching apology), climate change is breaking
their ranks, moderates are breaking off to negotiate with democrats,
and beneath it all, the giant elephant in the room is the illegal
iraq occupation that eats the mind and goodwill out of everything else
they do.

They are completely tied down. Bush is a lame duck and has no power
with ANY party these days except white house masque of the red death
gettogethers. And keeping with the Poe analogy, the red death is
popular uprising against tyrrany and evil.... its a joy to see, the
fall of this house of usher.

:-)
