Watching CNN, and they were running the UN feed with a translation into English.
Kofi Annan is SPEAKING English!
Maybe they're practicing so they can translate Bush's speech into English.

a few weeks ago.
He and Powell and some General were doing a press conference. Someone was asking a question (in English). As the person was finishing their question, Rumsfeld, tears off his earpiece, and stops the person, complaining that he is not getting the translation of the question.
Powell interrupts Rumsfeld and informs him that the question was being asked in english. Rumsfeld asks "What do I have these things on for then" (referring to the translation headphones).
What a fucking dipshit.

Gee, are leaders allowed to be fluent in more than one language? It's been so long since we had one (a leader, that is).
