be a diplomat and non partisan. Can you imagine how it would look if he started ripping on Chimp right now, his Tsunami Relief partners son? In my opinion his job and focus right now is helping hundreds of thousands of homeless people and to work and get along with Bush Sr. while doing so. It sounds like he is working very hard and doing a tremendous job for someone who just had heart surgery. I really have no problem with him being extra nice to the Bush's while he is working with one of them on a very important job. I was extremely impressed with him on Letterman last night.

massive loss of life in the tsunami. It's about getting news focus on recovery efforts, relief and raising funds. I really don't worry about "hidden agendas" from our current regime, if the efforts of the elder Bush and Bill pay off in real time relief support. That's an acceptable trade off to me.

One side effect of the big name involvement is that it helps insure that more goods and services actually get on the ground where they're needed.

working in overdrive to "rehabilitate" his image for the wider public.
In the long term, that is good for us...because in 2008 (and maybe even 2006) he will have distanced himself quite a bit from the image that led Gore to pretty much keep him out of his campaign.

A "rehabilitated" Clinton could be a very potent weapon for us...

Of course, this conclusion could change....I find myself going back and forth on what he does....when he "defends" Bush. His international efforts, I am POSITIVE, are sincere and above politics. But, they are also extremely good for his image....a bonus.

3. Good for Hillary's image, too. I think the

powers that be, the people who really run things, have it in mind to put Hillary in the White House next, as a sop to buy us off, a way to make us think we actually have a two-party democracy where voting counts.
