"The mission isn't easy, and it will not be accomplished overnight," Mr Bush said in his weekly radio address.

Mr Bush built his case for the war on what he said was a threat from Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, but those were never found. In the aftermath of the September 11, 2001, attacks on the United States, Mr Bush had also warned of links between Saddam Hussein's government and terrorist groups.

Criticism of the illicit weapons rationale has been rekindled after the surfacing of a British Government memo that said that by July 2002 US intelligence was being "fixed" around a policy that would inevitably lead to war with Iraq.

----in other words, LEAVING IRAQ IS NOT AN OPTION--this from today's presidential radio address. yeah, we figured that out.

and of course, no mention of 'you know what'. and look forward in the coming months to bush going on the road to sell his number one favorite issue, the fucking war to kill innocent people. it's getting to be a hard sell, and we know he's a really shitty salesman.

------and HEY---didn't i see the words MISSION and ACCOMPLISHED in the president's quote? where have i heard those two words before, used in a sentence, it's on the tip of my tongue......

3. he is right..
his mission to overthrow the middle class "will not be accomplished over night"

Quelling the insurgents is important for his corporat interests.

See bush is right! his words are just jumbled

""The mission isn't easy, and it will not be accomplished overnight," Mr Bush said in his weekly radio address.

Coming under renewed attack for his rationale for invading Iraq in March 2003, Mr Bush described the conflict as part of the broader US war on terrorism.

He said stabilising Iraq and quelling the insurgency were important for American interests. "

7. What happened to cakewalk? By the way, what was the mission?
To destroy his stockpiles of WMD's? To bring about Regime Change?
And to bring Democracy and Freedom to the Iraqi people? I would say two out of three ain't bad and get out of there.

9. What you didn't see was PHASE I after Mission Accomplished.
They were written in invisible ink. He is now executing Phase II. After he or his successor installs space weapons and develops genetic warfare techniques Phase III will be completed.

Prepare for the Brave New World of Bush Now, Bush Tomorrow and Bush Forever.

10. I can't believe that a Democrat won't use this opportunity
to say: remember when he used these exact words in another way?

What was that again?

Oh yea, now I remember

Mission Accomplished!!!; back when "only" roughly 500 of our soldiers were killed and slightly less than 100.000 innocent Iraqis also perished for- what rational existed at that point again, George? Was it still WMD? Or regime change? Had we arrived at the exporting democracy reason yet?

What a sick, sinister, administration this has turned out to be. I was scared in Nov 2001 but I never expected the depths that he and his henchmen would sink to

12. He's lying. It's easy for him.
I would venture to say he's having the f*cking time of his life.

Don't look back, bush, something's gaining.
