1. More like 96%...
Tons of freepers triple voting, because they are so crazy.

2. Really? This poll is great, but hard to believe.
That 6% that do not believe he mislead us in to war is certainly a vocal lot.

3. Yeah, but how much of the 94% really care enough to do anything about it

5. Very Few - But It Doesn't Matter
What matters is that they will not oppose those who do care enough to do something about it. Bush would be out of office right now were it not for the obstructionists who insulate him. We do not need them on our side, we just need them to step aside.

4. Oh. I thought the poll had some validity to it before I went
to the site.

Don't get our hopes up like that.

6. It isn't enough to say he lied
By now, that's a well-established fact. Anybody who says he didn't lie is either a fool or himself a liar.

What we need to put out is that Bush lied and it matters that he lied; people are dead because he lied; American military posture has been weakened by saddling combat forces in a quagmire because he lied; he brought disrepute to America because he lied.

8. About live votes:
One week in the middle of the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal, more than 200,000 people took part in an MSNBC Live Vote that asked whether President Clinton should leave office. Seventy-three percent said yes. That same week, an NBC News-Wall Street Journal poll found that only 34 percent of about 2,000 people who were surveyed thought so.
To explain the vast gap in the numbers in this and other similar cases, it is necessary to look at the difference in the two kinds of surveys.

10. What kills me....
Edited on Sat Jun-18-05 05:39 PM by antfarm
is that I work with a few Republicans who actually acknowledge that Bush started the war under false pretenses. They won't use the word "lied," but they say that WMD was a publicly palatable reason to go over there, when the real reason was the need to begin to "reshape" the Middle East.

THEY DON'T CARE that they were misled. They were enraged when Clinton lied about his sex life, but they are perfectly happy that Bush "misdirected" to get us into war with Iraq.

11. Win what?
It's not like Bush can run for re-election again (at this point anyway).

12. A cake?
A medal? A free coke? Refill? What do we get to win?

You don't mean a Presidential election 4 years from now when nobody can remember what happened in June of 05, do you?
