Sheila Jackson Lee for POTUS in 2008?
Edited on Sat Jun-18-05 04:25 PM by libnnc
Could we afford to lose her in the House?

She impresses the hell out of me everytime she opens her mouth.

Your thoughts?

1. I heard her for the first time at the DSM forum
I was so impressed by what she said, and how she said it. A silver-tongued woman who also happens to be very handsome as well.

2. Eeek, Eeek. A "too liberal" black woman!! She'd get my vote.
And, if she'd add Cynthia McKinney as her running mate...

God, I could just see the likes of Lieberman, Bayh, and Ford, weeping and gnashing their teeth.

Alas, such a miraculous change into a progressive party would be just that..miraculous.

4. Hell, the country would never be the same.
Especially if they were to win.

5. Long Time Shiela Jackson-Lee Fan
I call her the Barbara Jordan of the modern House. I first saw her in action during the Clinton inquisition and have followed her (and donated to her campaigns) since. She's one classy and inspiring woman.

She'd make a great Senator rather than POTUS...allowing her eloquent voice and prose to get more than the obligatory 60 seconds on the House floor.

6. In racist America? No way.
Lee would be an excellent president, but would lose because people are terrified of a smart, liberal black woman with her own mind.

Now a woman like KindaSleazy Rice could win, because voters would know that she is a puppet of rich, white men.

7. When she opens her mouth she impresses me to.
Except not in a positive way.

This is the dummy that thought Neil Armstrong landed on Mars, and asked if the Mars rover had taken a picture of the flag left behind.

Between her and Bush, there isnt enough brainpower between the two to blow their noses.

Shrug, believe what you will. I cant force anyone to learn.

I remember when it happened (im a space buff).

FWIW, I found the nationmaster site pretty interesting.

Its pretty much digs up the positive and negative on everyone. I ran it on Bush and other republicans and it slammed them pretty good to.

But if you say its biased, then by God it must be biased.
