www.AndyThanksYou.com having the intended effect
I've nearly shut down the smear artists, guys.

When I post the pathology report, that should put the last nail into their self-made coffin.

I was totally outraged and appalled by their behavior. :grr:

That said, those who know me will realize that the "smear artist" have to be really, really horrible to get me to that point. I've dealt with child molesters, murderers and empty soul creatures of this earth and these "scam artist" fall into the very same category.

12. What we did as a community was AWESOME.
And I am happy that I had a small part in removing our doubts.

WE CAN DO ANYTHING.

Remember that.

We can bury the GOP in the sands of history.

Now that we understand what we did, and what was almost done to us, it is time to redouble our efforts to destroy these goons individually and as a group.

And when we do, I'll be there, helping fight the skirmishes, the battles, and the War.

And we will be victorious!

45. the whole experience changed my understanding of what's possible
in this society and this world, no matter how screwedup so much of it is now

i'd never witnessed anything like it before; & never had the chance to participate in anything like it before

despite the shameless backlash of the terminally envious,
this experience has left me feeling far less alone in the world

and each day that Andy recovers and regains his health and reclaims his purpose, and every time i see this community re-gathering in his support again, ... i figure whatever's amiss in my little corner of the world, i can cope with it, for sure :-)

thanks for saying it so well, OneBlueSky

93. every individual act of kindness
marks two souls: the giver & the receiver

likewise, every act of meanness or betrayal...

people are turned aside from lasting bitterness and despair by such small individual acts of compassion... but these small individual acts are amplified through time and experience, and come to bear full fruit in communities like this one, as we've all witnessed...

many years ago there was a young woman
ill, injured, trapped in abuse, without family support,
and experiencing the abandonment of false friends...

the day came when all she had to hold onto
was her own soul; in her kitchen, a half loaf of bread
and a can of tomato soup; in her hand, an eviction notice...

out of "the blue", a car pulled up: out stepped a woman, older, & well-off;
a writer she'd admired & worked with; but had come to count, sadly,
among the "disappeared" ones, those she'd once trusted as friends

the visitor had only just learned about her troubles...
she said: "let's talk: come with me to the store & help me shop -
all Sam's family are coming for a big dinner; i could use your help!"

so the young woman (embarrassed beyond words, & ambivalent)
rides to the supermarket, where her fortunate-friend sets an empty basket
and a long, fat food-list in her hands: "you shop this list, & i'll shop mine,

& i'll meet you at the checkout!" so: so ordinary: two women
shopping through the grocery store. but at the checkout,
fortunate woman says to the bagger: "keep all that's in her basket

separate, please!" ...trouble-woman begins to wonder...
at the car, her basketful goes into the back seat
instead of the trunk... ("the enduring elegance

of female friendship," Samuel Johnson wrote once in gratitude
to his confidant and champion and dear female friend)
...fortunate-woman & trouble-woman had only been acquainted

before that day; but for many years after that day
they remained the closest of friends: because they both saw clearly
that the deepest hunger the soul knows is all about dignity

and the deepest blessing the soul knows comes
through compassion: something we can not experience
alone: but always in relationship: reciprocal blessing

...and the groceries fit for a family feast
were brought inside the abandonment-apartment
to fill young trouble-woman's empty kitchen...

and to this day that food of the spirit
of simple humankindness fills the heart
and fuels the understanding

of trouble-woman, sitting here writing this, still feeling that blessing
22 years later, & almost to the day: i've never told this story,
so thank you for listening, NothingWithoutHope :loveya:

105. Thank you with all of my heart for sharing this, Ana
Edited on Sat Jun-18-05 10:28 PM by Nothing Without Hope
None of my words are expressive enough. What comes to mind is to share again two of my favorite quotes in the sure knowledge that you will understand:

"In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit."
–Albert Schweitzer, philosopher, physician, and musician (1875-1965)

"A human being is a part of the whole, called by us, "Universe," a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest -- a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. Nobody is able to achieve this completely, but the striving for such achievement is in itself a part of the liberation and a foundation for inner security."
—Albert Einstein

I do believe that the deeper the pit of pain and despair that we have been mired in, the greater our capacity for compassion, wisdom and lovingkindness after we emerge from it. It's like a deep hole is dug which we can then choose to fill with the opposite of what was there before.

It's not just the truth that is on our side. It's also the deep human craving for a community of compassion and respect. Fear is such a pathetic substitute as a motivation. Kindness is at least as contagious as its opposite.

111. that Einstein quote eloquently sums up exactly what's wrong . . .
with the human race . . . it's the truth that is the foundation of both science and religion -- when religion is being true to itself (which, unfortunately, ain't too often these days) . . . if understood and accepts, that truth could bridge the gap between science and religion and make the world a far more welcoming place for everyone . . .

...two of our greatest philosophers/wise men. ...i had just re-read H2OMan's Mark Twain thread, on finding your response here; oh, to live again in a society where such true thinkers and lovers of humanity are beloved and esteemed, and heeded...

Hope, it is rare to feel so completely understood as i do now, reading your post here... but every bit as much as these passages from two of my most-beloved wise men (how'd you know? lol), there are these words of great eloquence and feeling from one of my favorite wise women, and these bear repeating:

I do believe that the deeper the pit of pain and despair that we have been mired in, the greater our capacity for compassion, wisdom and lovingkindness after we emerge from it. It's like a deep hole is dug which we can then choose to fill with the opposite of what was there before.

so very beautifully expressed, dear person; you should realize that i won't be the only one printing and keeping your words - here they'll be pinned up just above this screen, for those days and moments when the "inner fire" burns low.

for me, you are one of "those people who rekindle the inner spirit"; and i am very grateful, indeed.

I was feeling ill and down tonight, and you've fixed me up. We all have wisdom, the point is not only to remember to use it, but to share it with one another when it is needed. Thank you for the timely dose and the hugs. I'm very touched that you put what I wrote on your computer. If we can all be kindled and rekindlers both, then there's little we can't accomplish.

And just look how merh's ripples just keep going.

I wish we could give our Andy a special delivery of affection and support that he could feel. He and Termite are going through such a challenging time now, with the chemo and radio treatments coming soon and Andy's long illness, pain, worry and major surgery sapping his resilience. He'll come out on the other side of this, but I wish it were an easier experience.

at the heart of merh-ness (:loveya:)
refracts the light
we bring here

and shows us each
the colors we slight,
sleeping, till we sing here

by laws of love
from spirit's forge
our hearts emerge designed

to pitch and catch
truth's frequencies
along souls' deep ley-lines

the beauty and the mystery
of how we go around
meandering the natural

until some frontier's reached:
the limit of "i am" - "i was"
and "will be?" - hangs, unbreached

when sudden heart of crystalline
embodied, brings to ground
the question and its questing ones:

why now? how here? the finder's found
where path and purpose mirror
old lostness lost in light

and rainbows' liberation marks
the way we reckon gold: soul's friend
our map and motive, how to walk

the ley-lines home:
old coat of many colors,
we keep each other warm

Like this Classic:

Babes on Broadway:

A group of talented youngsters looking for their first Broadway break decide to produce their own show, staging a benefit for an orphanage. First they give a block party to raise money for theater rental, but just as they are about to give their big show, fate throws them a curve - the theater is condemned.....

I have authority over myself is the point. So do you. Neither has authority over the other.

And that is the end meaning of fair. All that I have said re the fairness of this issue as posted here on DU, is truth.

If there is a thread posted here, all have recourse to answer to it. I did that in expressing my opinion that it should take place on the Burch site if only one opinion is to be accepted. If it is posted here, other opinions should be, out of respect for fairness, should be heard. If that is too hard for the admin to do, then ALL the threads re this issue, should be prohibited.

Why is my best bet for expressing my thoughts would be to go to the mods? Or the admin? I have not broken any rules here. I have always found the admin to be rather sober in their judgements. In fact, that was the factor that convinced me to join DU and to contribute when I joined. I admired their approach. Is there some prohibition to expressing a view that is not congruent with yours?

Skinner laid out ground rules on this topic.

On of them was that the fraud question had been laid to rest. Did you miss that?

My suggestion was only to take your concerns where they could be best addressed.

I hope that was clear enough for you.

and were never focused on you. You know that is not the truth. Go back and look at who I addressed my first post to.

You answered to my post on your own volition. My post was in response to one by Coco.

I think that these issues, now that there is a forum supplied by Burch's site, that it should be taken there in view of the fact that all concerns are prohibited from being expressed here. It is not fair that only one side can be heard here, while others cannot.

I accept that and have not by any means, addressed any issue concerning "fraud". My issue is that only ONE side can be heard here. and it is my contention that that is NOT fair.

Now if it is up to the admin. then perhaps you should leave it all up to them.

I encourage you and others to go to Mr. Burch's new site to discuss all of this issue, or to do what ever you need to do, and thereby take the whole thing away from DU.

It has become a blight and has been destructive in many ways.

80. I think you've missed the updates.
Skinner did lay this to rest. And far from being a "blight", this effort has become an example of what DU can do, united.

Enough to really disturb the opposition. :)

Again, I suggest that you go to a mod or to an admin because it really does seem as though they have information that you might want.

83. I certainly can do that if I decide to do so.
but, I have no reason to do so.

You know, I am not concerned about the "opposition" and I think that is one of the reasons why this thing got so out of control.

You let them, control you.

This obsession with the "opposition" is the reason why this has turned into a paranoid , stressful condition. You, and others, were so concerned with what "they} were saying, even though they were not saying it here, that your efforts seem to have been directed to them, HERE, on DU, instead of going THERE to confront them. I perceive that to be somewhat of a triangulation. and that was NOT fair to DU people who expressed some doubts here.

It was wrong to do that, imo and only contributed to the chaos. It happens often on DU and I think it rather adolescent.

Not everyone here is or was aware of this hateful "opposition". I never was, until I was forced to go to those "opposition" sites to get the information when all threads were shut down here. Except all thread were not shut down, as they continue on. You are wasting time and energy and using those "oppositional" sites to respond to HERE.

That is a waste of time and of energy. The "opposition" was NOT posting here and many of us were hammered, insulted and driven, indeed, to go those sites, in order to get the information. You, actually, drove many to go to the "opposition" sites with the paranoia!!

I suggest we do it concurrently. What do you say? You also seem to have some concerns about how we all are to post here. I think we are both protected as far as freedom of speech goes so perhaps we can both together work it out with the admin.

And I hope you will afford yourself access to facts via the admins or the mods since you seem to be so adverse to the new site. That may put your concerns to bed. After all, I'm sure that's we what all want.

governed by its owners, admins and mods, per the posted rules.

This is a message board, not the USofA. Attacking other posters violates those rules.

92. May I interrupt
Malva, I have only paid tangential attention to the whole Andy Stephenson dust-up here on DU and elsewhere in recent months. You have made clear in your posts on this thread that there is something of concern to you that do NOT feel free to discuss here, and it somehow relates to Andy's critics ("opposition" if you like).

I find this very confusing. I mean that in the most honest sense of the word. I think it is because so much on DU has been censored regarding the "critics".

Could you possibly PM me with some details of this saga? or at least point me to some links (DU or external)? This is sheer curiosity talking here.

thanks
yodermon

On edit

I meant to say the right coast. I have been sneered at in subsequent postings down thread for this mistake. I am not afraid, you see, to admit I made a mistake. I think it a badge of character and integrity to do so. It is one of the things I abhor about Bush et al. There is a constant need to spin, to sneer at, to exact revenge, to smear and to discredit someone who has done no harm but who has gone against him.

but so far I haven't suffered any adverse consequences for posting my sincere feelings about this.

All I've gotten was your supportive post and a polite private inbox discussion with an Andy supporter. No personal attacks, no accusations about my intentions or affiliations.

I think I've hit upon a possible key to how to handle this. Speak your mind, carefully, but make sure also to rise above the personal attacks and most of all no public criticisms of the DU admins, who have been put in an impossible situation and who have handled it pretty well under the circumstances.

as well as negative in the week before surgery --when you know that lies posted here contributed to a lengthly delay in his treatment?
not fair that that Skinner himself verified with the hospital that the surgery took place as exactly as described here?
not fair that the Admins would probably delete a post that continued to allege fraud when they have verified none occured?
i wasn't so happy that no one could post anything about Andy myself in that time period, but i understood Skinner needed to do what he had to do. The vicious lies posted here against a fellow DUer had once it was verified what the truth was. But you think that's censorship?
i believe you can say the fundraising was a resounding success or a sloppy slapped together affair. and i guess, if you really want to go there, you can play god and suggest andy should have got surgery at the doctor of your choice, LOL. i've heard that one a few times.
but no, you can't suggest that the surgery for pancreatic cancer wasn't desperately needed or didn't occur. because the admins would know you are spreading lies, and all of DU suffers then.. got it? seems very clear to me.

But, they will never do that. Because the admins are smart, because we will work out the kinks.

His maternal grandfather was a foreman at the old watch factory. I have a photo taken of him in the factory on the day he retired...it was probably the 1920s, and he died years before I was born. But I treasure the photo.

and my father has been gone for nearly 13 years.

Usually, I head off in the wrong direction from Liberty Street first and then go back the correct way. It's been nearly four years since the last time I drove past the houses, but I always recognize them.

I was in Elgin a year ago this month for my uncle's burial service (he had lived away from Elgin for about 60-odd years but wanted to be buried there). On the way to the service (Mt. Hope Cemetery chapel), I didn't have time to stop by the houses, and the lunch following was in Barrington, so my intention to visit before returning to Chicago wasn't possible. I well remember being taken to Lord's Park as a kid...also Wing Park, because my grandmother lived on the west side at the time on Perry Street.

She was old enough to, and not in good physical shape. I'll never forget her house, which was turquoise on the exterior and overstuffed on the inside with more junk than you can imagine. It was on Wellington Street, directly across from the factory. Helen was a widow as long as I knew her, and had a boyfriend named Louie who allgedly lived in the basement.

134. I always loved going there to visit my grandmother.
Even though she died in 1957, for years we returned at least once a year to tend to the graves -- grandparents and one set of great-grandparents at Mt. Hope, the other great-grandparents at Bluff City.

When I was a kid, my grandmother lived in an old house on Perry Street that had been converted into apartments. Although my family had an old house in Chicago, this was even older and the windows came down almost to the floor. I found that fascinating.

My father grew up at Park and Porter, where his maternal grandfather owned two houses for his extended family.

I have good memories of Elgin.

you call those abominable things? - but on it is securely pinned his "Voter-verified paper ballots" in a brilliant orange & black. Is the hat a reference to the Baltimore Orioles? Would be appropriate.

The chemo and radio will be a challenge, but he has heard from his straight-talking doctor that he has a good prognosis. That makes them an ordeal to get through to the other side, not the open-ended acts of desperation they might have been with a different prognosis. I do think that, considering that his good prognosis was brought about by 8 hours of surgery led by the best surgeon in the world for Andy's condition, it's a damn good thing flyarm, sfexpat2000 and the other angels managed the miracle of getting Andy into Johns Hopkins and under his skilled care.

I'm proud to have participated in the act of loving support and compassion that was created from the efforts of so many good-hearted people. I never doubted. I hope that the hurts and suspicions that began with the acts of a few malicious individuals and rippled out to include people who were honest in their concern are healed and eased.

This new site should help that, and it is itself an act of kindness. Thank you for it, Ben. And of course for Andy and Termite - neither of whom I've met but with whom I do feel a sense of connection - my very best wishes for healing, goodness, warm companionship and growth. And lots of laughter with good friends.

63. Sounds good to me! Seeing Andy in the sunshine surrounded by
his flowers is something to look forward to. And he does have the most gorgeous smile. It's identical in that adorable baby picture - no mistaking that liettle red-headed imp!

BTW, did you find out if Andy has a VHS player? I picked up some tapes at yard sales with him in mind - two South Park and a Monty Python. He's going to be needing to take it easy for a while. Wish I knew more about his taste in books. (Already sent gardening ones.)

115. Wow. From the tone of that earlier dustup, your website is
well and truly needed. I guess negativity will find a way, huh?

On a lighter note--Andy's puppy is adorable. And this:

"How do we know that it's really a puppy?

"The first date that a puppy was mentioned was several weeks ago. Why the delay in getting the puppy? Is it a puppy, or is it a kitten disguised as a puppy? And why does Andy need a puppy? Why couldn't he just get a mutt from the pound? It's elitist to adopt a puppy when mutts are available. Show us the vet's papers to prove it's really Andy's puppy! And show us the puppy's DNA test so we know it's actually a puppy and not a rabbit...."

is hysterical. Great to see you're able to make us laugh in such all-around sad (but now hopeful) circumstances.

Thanks so much for the website. Tell Andy to take care.

in the supine position. Respiratory
care includes assisted coughing, deep
breathing and alveolar recruitment
techniques (e.g. CPAP), chest

And you will note they were concerned with his lung function as there is a spirometer on the table in one of the pictures.

'cause I haven't checked in awhile (the smearers - not the du skeptics - but those carrying on in other places... included Conyer's blog of all places - were so distressing to watch... sickly obsessed and completely unable to wonder if perhaps Andy was really seriously ill and if so - could there be life and death results to their actions (esp the paypal incident)... so the q: how do you know that you have nearly shut down the smear artists? Are they closing down their smear and speculate discussions?

"...the smearers... sickly obsessed and completely unable to wonder if perhaps Andy was really seriously ill"

They don't wonder at all. They know perfectly well how ill he is. They have known for months. They get their disgusting ghoulish jollies from this relentless smear of lies.

Andy is still in pain and recovering, but their sickness is utterly incurable. They seek no cure. Rather, they wallow and roll in their sick obsession like a dog rolls in the reek of something rotten.

145. it is all so sad
what is really sad, is that Andy is not some 2 dimensional character
who can be destroyed on Level 2 of a ninetendo game, he's a real person
who's been through a lot and this negativity has just increased his burden. Andy stayed with me for almost a month, and he and Termite went to Home Depot and got parts to fix my shower and he is sitting up there in my Baltimore rowhouse bathtub with my shower parts that have not been
dismantled since Jesus walked on earth in the heat of a Balimore summer night and he has a tumor the size of a golf ball inside of him the whole time, and he did not stop until it was fixed. That's the kind of guy that Andy is and meanwhile people just responded to a bunch of he said, she saids and took it upon themselves to take up a crusade against him.
I hope the trolls go back to their gameboys, it's more fun for them and us.

As Andy himself said on here, "Consider the Source".

OTOH, maybe we SHOULD have included the Baltimore skyline in that shot taken in Andy's room... just to prove that it was "really" taken at Johns Hopkins... I am SURE these freep creeps are just SO smart they could easily figure out what street it was taken from and what floor of the building!

No sense bothering to "provide enough information to destroy their whole case". They have NO case!!!! They say it themselves: they are made-up "allegations" based on nothing but their own revolting jealous juvenile stink. They don't understand anything. It is a complete waste of effort for you to bother evidencing truth... truth is unrecognizable to these trollfreepers.

They prefer to wallow and roll in their sick obsession like a dog rolls in something rotten, and wear the stench of their ghastly "accomplishment" back into their spider den for their disgusting ilk to sniff and rile the pack of hyenas to foray again.

It is the most vile, repellent thing I have ever seen. Let them devour themselves with their fake allegations and reports.

Note that it is from that sector that we receive the worst and most personal attacks against the persons involved in trying to help Andy fend off this attack.

They seem to feel that they can win friends and influence people by "digging up" things about us...

And being idiots, they think that they can use my VERY public sex life as some sort of bludgeon against me or to in some way discredit me with my audience. It's a non-starter, and has backfired on them BIG TIME. I've had a large number of letters pointing out the slanders and asking me if I am OK. And not ONE condemning me. Not one.

I'll clue you guys; If I cared about what people thought of my sexuality, I wouldn't dress in leather and visit leather bars! LOL! And I wouldn't be listed in the colophon of AVN Magazine, either.

Hah! What on earth does your sex life have to do with any of it? What does mine have to do with it? If yours is private or public, it wouldn't seem to have anything to do with Andy's health. They have stooped to talking about your sex life?! Hahahahah!!!!!!! That's funny. I thought they were busy making "allegations" about Andy, not tracking your sex life. That's pretty funny!

161. THANK YOU BEN!! AND HUGS TO ANDY!!AND A SONG FOR YOU ALL!!
THANK YOU BEN.........

FOR ANDY AND YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!

You're The Top
Ethel Merman
Words and music by Cole Porter.
Introduced by Ethel Merman and William Gaxton in the musical "Anything
Goes."
Sung by Miss Merman and Bing Crosby in the first film version in 1936 and
by Crosby, Mitzi Gaynor, Donald O'Connor and Jeanmarie in the second film
version in 1956.
Sung by Ginny Simms and Cary Grant in the 1946 film "Night and Day."

(Verse 1)
At words poetic, I'm so pathetic
That I always have found it best,
Instead of getting 'em off my chest,
To let 'em rest unexpressed.
I hate parading my serenading
As I'll probably miss a bar,
But if this ditty is not so pretty,
At least it'll tell you how great you are.

(chorus 1)
You're the top! You're the Colosseum,
You're the top! You're the Louvre Museum,
You're a melody from a symphony by Strauss,
You're a Bendel bonnet, a Shakespeart sonnet,
You're Mickey Mouse.
You're the Nile, You're the Tow'r of Pisa,
You're the smile on the Mona Lisa.
I'm a worthless check, a total wreck, a flop,
But if, Baby, I'm the bottom,
You're the top
(verse 2)
Your words poetic are not pathetic
On the other hand, boy, you shine
And I can feel after every line
A thrill divine down my spine.
Now gifted humans like Vincent Youmans
Might think that your song is bad,
But for a person who's just rehearsin'
Well I gotta say this my lad:

(chorus 2)
You're the top! You're Mahatma Ghandi.
You're the top! You're Napolean brandy.
You're the purple light of a summer night in Spain,
You're the National Gall'ry, You're Garbo's sal'ry,
You're cellophane.
You're sublime, You're a turkey dinner.
You're the time of the Derby winner.
I'm a toy balloon that is fated soon to pop.
But if, Baby, I'm the bottom,
You're the top!

(chorus 3)
You're the top! You're a Ritz hot toddy.
You're the top! You're a Brewster body.
You're the boats that glide on the sleepy Zuider Zee,
You're a Nathan Panning, You're Bishop Manning,
You're broccoli.
You're a prize, You're a night at Coney,
You're the eyes of Irene Bordoni,
I'm a broken doll, a fol-de-rol, a blop,
But if, Baby, I'm the bottom,
You're the top.

(chorus 4)
You're the top! You're an Arrow collar.
You're the top! You're a Coolidge dollar.
You're the nimble tread of the feet of Fred Astaire,
You're an O'Neill drama, You're Whistler's mama,
You're Camembert.
You're a rose, You're Inferno's Dante,
You're the nost of the great Durante.
I'm just in the way, as the French would say
"De trop,"
But if, Baby, I'm the bottom,
You're the top.

(chorus 5)
You're the top! You're a Waldorf salad.
You're the top! You're a Berlin ballad.
You're a baby grand of a lady and a gent.
You're an old dutch master, You're Mrs. Aster,
You're Pepsodent.
You're romance, You're the steppes of Russia,
You're the pants on a Roxy usher.
I'm a lazy lout that's just about to stop,
But if Baby, I'm the bottom,
You're the top!

(chorus 6)
You're the top! You're a dance in Bali.
You're the top! You're a hot tamale.
You're an angel, you simply too, too, too diveen,
You're a Botticelli, You're Keats, You're Shelley,
You're Ovaltine.
You're a boon, You're the dam at Boulder,
You're the moon over Mae West's shoulder.
I'm a nominee of the G.O.P. or GOP,
But if, Baby, I'm the bottom,
You're the top!

(chorus 7)
You're the top! You're the Tower of Babel.
You're the top! You're the Whitney Stable.
By thje River Rhine, You're a sturdy stein of beer,
You're a dress from Saks's, You're next year's taxes,'
You're stratosphere.
You're my thoist, You're a Drumstick Lipstick,
You're da foist in da Irish svipstick,
I'm a frightened frog that can find no log to hop,
But if, Baby, I'm the bottom,
You're the top!

225. what proof do you have it was really her hair? do you have a sample
that FR could independently verify? If not, this is a fraud. They don't allow hair in the ICU. They don't allow visitors at Hopkins. That's a fact. So Andy could not have been at hopkins if she was there.

Edited on Mon Jun-20-05 09:05 AM by flyarm
seems i don't have as much time on my hands as the nut cases who pose as doctors or experts in surgeries and pancreatic cancer...been real busy...but wanted to say..hi!! and thank you all for being such wonderful , kind , and caring human beings!! i am proud to know you all!!

and for the lurkers who "think" they know it all about andy's surgery..well i would have had pity for them at one time..pity that they "think" they know what went on in the hospital , and they " think" they know how people react after a surgery deemed ..the whopper of all surgeries...well they know nothing!!..they know less than nothing...they are blow hard b.s. artists... now ..I think they are a dying pond scum!!

but for those of you who cared so much and put yourself out there..i am damn proud to know ya!!...you are what i used to know as "real " americans...and i salute you...you know who you all are..everyone of you who put your heart on your sleave and helped another american who needed help!

i thought thats who we were as "Americans"..i thought that came naturally..i guess i was very wrong!
