2. What makes you so sure?
Edited on Sat Jun-18-05 09:48 PM by Dr_eldritch
I mean yes... history will record this period as one of the most tenebrous and opaque periods in American history. And no doubt scholars will agree that he was one of the most unqualified presidents in history.

{oe}- oh, of course you are right...

5. But will he quit before it gets even worse?
Because that's his usual pattern.

--Join company.
--Destroy comapny.
--Leave company just before it goes down the toilet.
--Profit.

6. You mean will he leave to "spend more time with his family"?
We can only hope that whatever happens, he will get the worst of it and no one else will be harmed any further.

My God, what a destructive man he is.

7. Bush will go down in history as the worst world leader since Caligula
Mark my words. We'll meet again some sunny day, and when we do, we will open the history books and find the shit-stained name of Bush alongside Hitler, Caligula, Ceaucescu, Vlad the Impaler, et al. He is absolutely the worst President this great country has ever had.

11. bush related to val by marriage...strange factoid
http://celebritycola.blogspot.com/2004/11/bush-and-kerry-related-to-vlad-impaler.html

I confess to voting for kerry knowing thisthought ya might like it!

"Bush and Kerry Related to Vlad the Impaler and Royal Family (Did the Vampire Bite the Prez & Prince?)
After 500 years, the ruling class is still the ruling class. We can try to ignore it, or sugar coat it with elections, but the rich and powerful have retained much of their wealth and power.

Think about it: Despite hundreds of wars, millions or births and deaths, the Holocaust of WWII, the invention of the nuclear bomb, the development of modern democracy and communism, the rise and fall of the U.S.S.R., the colonization and revolution and independence and civil war and rise to power of the U.S. -- despite all of this – the aristocracy of yesteryear still retains an enormous amount of control.

Now, Bush and Kerry aren’t actually blood relatives of the neck-biting Count Dracula of Rumania/Transylvania fame (a.k.a. Vlad the Impaler a.k.a. Vlad III aka Voivode Vlad), but through Princess Diana they are connected to the British Royal Family, a.k.a. The House of Windsor, which shares a bloodline with Vlad himself (most of the European monarchies share common bloodlines)."

but he won't slink away (too much hubris - don't expect him to quit) and he will benefit from revisionist history, just like raygun.

14. They might if they need a martyr for their cause...
...which is entirely possible, since it's all in danger of collapsing at any moment. Trust me - that's the LAST THING we would want to see happen to Bush. An impeachment for his high crimes is what I'd rather see more than his martyrdom.

17. JFK him and blame it on a Democrat!
THAT is not what we need right now. KKKRove would make sure the person is a registered Dem...no doubt in my mind.

Let's try him for treason at the Hague!

15. He didn't start out as a neo-con, but after 9/11, they got him, and he
sold his country to them, and became one of them. Rumsfeld, Condi, Wolfowitz, Bolton, Cheney, they're all neo-cons, but, he didn't know that was why they backed him into the oval office. I'm sure he thought they all liked him, and thought he'd make a great president.

Watch how they all will blame him for this, when in fact, they're the architects of Iraq. He was the last to join the gang, and because he's a president's son, they skipped the initiation ceremony. He never knew what was going on, until he was so lost and helpless, he gave them his help so they'd run the country for him.

16. I certainly agree. The man's obviously an arrogant idiot.
The problem is that there's not much that we can do while we don't have control of the House and Senate. Chairman Conyers et all staged a brilliant effort, but they, along with the families of soldiers killed while fighting for this country, were relegated to a tiny room in the basement.;(

What needs to happen, and I got this from Carl Bernstein, who was speaking before the election, is that the Republicans have to be the ones to wake up and dump this loser! We just can't do it. The Republicans have to realize what a liability that Bush* has become and expel him from office, as the Democrats did with LBJ and the Republicans did with Nixon, when they became liabilities to the party. Fortunately, many Republicans are waking up, as Bush* gets further and further out of control. I just wish that they'd move more quickly, since I fear that it's already too late.:grr:

18. Of course, he will
and one day I will tell my kids, that I survived the worst president that ever held the post. I say held, instead of elected because we all know by now that he wasn't elected, he stole it both times.
