Has there been a major increase in illegal drug use since GOP took control
I am just wondering if anyone has noticed a major increase in drug use since the coup. It would fit with the pattern especially in minority neighborhoods. They need to get more minorities convicted of felonies so they can't vote. Also they need more cash and drugs is a proven cash cow for them. It is no coincidence that Afghanistan is now producing more Heroin than ever. It won't be long now til the media starts complaining about the increase in drug use and hollering for the government to clamp down.

2. Yeah I've noticed that too
More "free labor" for America's corporations. We've gotta keep the free market running smoothly.

4. Larger prison populations also helps make $$ for their base/donors
More and more prisons being privatized = more tax $$ funneled to the Corportists.

More prisoners = bigger very cheap labor pool for manufactures who want to use "Made in the USA" labels as marketing ploy for their goods.

6. Big House politics.
Companies that thrive on high crime are influencing economic and crime prevention policies.

The gun lobby loves the public relations of using a handgun for protection in a high crime environment.

The suppliers of prison services are big business and support tough on crime politicians.

By demonizing the urban areas as high crime, white flight to suburbs keeps the pressure and need for more oil exploration.

7. I just think drug use and crime naturally go up during bad economic
times as people deal with the effects.
