The Jeb Bush tide is definitely turning --- Local newspaper poll.
Yesterday's poll in my local newspaper asked Was Gov. Jeb Bush right to ask for an investigation of the circumstances surrounding Terris Schiavo's collapse in 1990?

The result was Yes --- 25%, No --- 75% ...... Link: http://www.theledger.com/apps/pbcs.dll/section?Category=POLLARCHIVE&ShowCategory=OPINION

And this paper covers an area in central Florida that was heavily red in the 2000 and 2004 elections.

Some of the interesting comments, link: http://www.theledger.com/apps/pbcs.dll/news_message?Category=POLLSFORUM&ThemeID=19&GroupID=34&InReplyTo=500650

Things are starting to look good and I am getting encouraged. Katherine Harris also had a negative majority in a recent poll in her hometown newspaper as well. It's looking good I tell ya. People are starting to see the light.

11. ODD maybe?
Look at that face! We all know that blivet** makes the same face all too often. I believe I have even seen pictures of poppy with that mug too. Could it be that they all have ODD? Imagine having to tell any of them NO about anything?

Perhaps that is why they don't interrupt blivet** when he's riding his bike and the nation MIGHT be under attack? Maybe he just gets do difficult to deal with that they just leave him alone. After all, we know they don't need him to DO anything in times like that, right?

3. yes, but we still have to remember to vote
absentee and not touchscreen or optical scan. i think it's time to reform the districts as well so some districts get some competition.

4. what difference does any of this make, when Jeb and family
never have to worry about counting votes.
All their behaviour seems to indicate the same thing -- we can do whatever we want and it won't matter what you think - we have it all wrapped up anyway.

6. I like this one..
"Michael is rapidly approaching a no-lose harassment suit against the state, and guess who is going to pay for it?

It won't be the blabbering anus King Jeb, I'll guarantee you that much.

I can't WAIT for the next election cycle to be rid of this plague on the State."

Ties in with my post on another thread in response to claims by scientists that they were "fired for speaking out".

" Good ol' jeb bush's
Florida..stinks. At least they won't have that slithering snakeass after 2006!"

8. It won't matter
As far as what jeb bush is doing it is a distraction so the press can avoid the downing street memo, which on the whole they are ignoring in the main stream media.

2006 is vital, but when they do a poll, and * is down in everything except on the way he is handling terror, which it says 52% support what he is doing, shows that there are a bunch of morans in this country

The presidential elections pretty much bore that out.

The moranic half still holds true in the poll as it did in the election.

12. What did their parents do to them?!
Neither George nor Jeb can admit when they are WRONG- and they both seem to see this character flaw as a strength rather that what it is- their greatest weakness.

14. They obviously
didn't ever send them to their rooms or not give them what they wanted. They were very much spoiled as children. I couldn't imagine my parents letting me get away with crap without a whooping or being sent to my room or something.

16. They instilled such a monstrous sense of entitlement in their children
that they are incapable of compromise or negotiation. Even so, * seems to feel his father's disapproval. It must be their mother who has treated them as if they can do no wrong.

15. Is Jeb Bush adopted? he could be Jethro Clampetts idiot brother
maybe they put him out for adoption before Jeb Clampett struck oil out shootin' food.

That would explain the jethro-like flashes of extreme idiocy.

17. Remember, Jeb is the *smart* one!!!
Jeb is the one the family had put its hopes own before black sheep Dubya got his act together and had the governorship and a few million bucks handed to him.

18. That is what scares me...have you met people who display their
genius (to them) and you discover he is a clueless idiot.
Jeb may be a savvy political animal, but he can be a clueless idiot too. Schiavo is a good indicator of this.

In the TV show Jethro was the smart one of the family.

19. St Pete's front page spells out more reasons for Jeb's ebbing tide
Lots of details in this piece about increases in cost for fuel, health care, and housing.

Price tag escalates on being Floridian

snip>
As of last year, Florida's median wage was $25,670, 12 percent below the national average. By contrast, the median sales price for an existing home in Florida in April was $218,600, 6 percent above the national average.
...
Last week, Florida Gov. Jeb Bush acknowledged the cost squeeze has become "a significant problem."

"We now are going to be challenged because of, particularly in the coastal areas, the lack of affordable housing," Bush said in an e-mail to the Times. But he added, "We're not the only state dealing with it."

True. But Florida has accumulated some striking distinctions. Just last week, the Tampa Bay area was deemed the least affordable metro area in the nation based on the cost of housing and getting around. The study by two nonprofit think tanks said bay area residents spend an average of 57.7 percent of household expenditures on housing and transportation.

No. 2 in the survey: Miami....

20. See if Jeb and his handlers don't spin it this way......

If his Shit-for-Brains brother got so much mileage out of 09/11, Jeb's handlers will blame all his problems on the hurricanes.

Remember you read it here first.
