i guess the soldiers in baghdad are probably just fine with the fact that the whole goddamned atrocitiy was based on cheap lies and fabricated patriotism and jingoism and a terror attack that was known about but not prevented.

i'm sure the soldiers after hearing about the downing street memo proving that bush and blair set the whole thing up and used them like pawns in a grotesque chess game are just fine with it too.

i'm sure that the fallen would've been okey dokey with this bit of treasonous knowledge, and i'm sure that the thousands of g.i.'s with missing arms and legs and eyes and minds figure it was all worth it, even though it was all lies and all about making billionaires into trillionaires.

if the republican bushwar supporters are cool with the war based on lies, and they can justify it in their heads, the 1,722 dead soldiers, the 100,000 dead innocents, the billions and billions that went missing and into cheney's pockets, i'm sure the soldiers are cool with it too.

they sport those tacky 'support the troops' logos on their hummers, and they support the further agonies of the soldiers and the iraqis and they don't care if it goes on for decades, they really don't.

and i'm sure the mothers and fathers of the fallen soldiers are just fucking fine with the fact that their commander in chief lied them into early graves, and the wives of fallen soldiers are just fucking fine being widows, and their children are just fine being motherless and fatherless.

if the republicans can justify the 1,722 dead g.i.'s, and the untold thousands of dead innocent people who never attacked us, and the billions missing and going into haliburton's pockets, and their godly president lying like Bill Clinton times 100,000, the soldiers are probably cool with it too, huh republican bushwar supporters?
